There are enough SCPs on this site that can be used to generate "free" energy for twice the world over. The fact that none of them (or at least I haven't come across one) are used in such a manner leads me to believe O5 are a bunch of dicks.

MacLeod, please don't call people out like this. Leave it to staff.

Necroposting is alright if the person is adding meaningful contribution or continuation to the conversation. In this case, this suffices since it's not spammy, nor is it just "+1 I like it."

You just replied to a 2-year old post. This is called "necroposting," in reference to "necromancy," the fictional art of returning the dead to life. Necromancers are usually evil. Necroposters are usually unaware of the unofficial rule, but might also be evil. In short, don't reply to old posts.

Agent Macleod, necroposting is alright if the person is continuing or contributing to the conversation in a meaningful manner. DrBaldwin is neither spamming nor trolling, so they're fine here.

Please don't tell people what not to do here. Leave it to staff.

My most recent reply was a staff post. He hasn't replied to either yet. The next time this happens, PM and post official warning.

I don't remember any such previous warnings, but I'll try to behave more politely than I have been, and apologize for such unnecessary/impolite behavior.

Reminded them that their posts do not exist in a vacuum and they should try to remember that staff may address them in a staff post.

Since he insists on being a shitmonster and ignoring repeated call-outs from staff, I'm going ahead and revoking his membership. I'll support a 24 hour ban if that's what others want.

This is plagiarism. This is wrong.

One of the most important things you have to avoid, when writing for any creative writing site, or writing for any reason is to be original and to give credit where it's due. You can't just take your favorite fictional characters and write them up as SCPs. It takes way more effort than that. Author, don't pull this crap again, anywhere.

Plagiarism can be vague, but it mainly falls within the purview of literary theft without appropriation. Authors are allowed to do homages to pieces that inspire them. This is not an homage. Homages are subtle. The subtlety of this article is equivalent to a nuclear bomb detonating on your iris. Thus, it is a "rip-off".

Author, don't pull this crap again, anywhere.

Dunno if this has any weight, but he came into 17 and apologized for this. He does understand if we decide on a 24 and says he will avoid this in the futurre.
