Sensei Le Roof went a little overboard while correcting some minor errors.

NO NO NO NO NO NO FUCKING NO. The past tense is LED. GET IT FUCKING RIGHT.

I replied with a request for him to ease up, and I'm posting it here for reference.

I seem to recall him going ott for some minor stuff in the past, although not to this degree. I'll keep an eye out for anything like this in the future.

He's usually been at least vaguely vehement about SPaG, but this is the first time it's been a problem AFAIK. I guess we'll just see if he gets the message.

I can recall him being that way for years i.e. he is an old-time member who has never toned down his critique in response to the new critique guidelines.

I called them both out for skirting the line between critiquing the work and attacking the writer. Dios wasn't as bad as Roof — his post actually had helpful content — so I'm not going to make a thread for him unless others disagree, but the continuing pattern of behavior on Roof's part is worth recording.

Maybe it's just me being overly sensitive, but I take the rules regarding criticism and discourse very seriously. Please keep an eye on him maybe?

I staffposted. Official warning on next infraction, since the last post about this is from almost two years ago? I recall seeing some harsh critique from this user on coldposted SCPs, but nothing to the extent of the previous post until now.
