After a couple months of workshopping this, I feel our rewrite of the Guide for Newbies is ready to be voted on.

The main focus of this rewrite was to streamline the entire guide by removing formatting and fluff that wasn't useful or detracted from its readability. As well as rewriting sections or adding sections to better reflect current community standards.
As this is a guide that is part of our required reading, voting on this thread is restricted to Moderators and Admins. Passage of this vote requires support of at least 60% of active mods and admins
