User Amarranth posted in the "Worst SCP's that were obviously ripped off from somewhere else?" thread with the following, in response to a user stating that SCP-173 was copied from the weeping angels:
*ahem* If you READ the FAQ, then you would know that SCP-173 came first. How ever did you get your application accepted…?
Seeing as there were already quite a few similar comments posted (in the sense that they said "173 was first") without nearly as much attitude, I made a Staff Post telling people to calm down.
Hopefully this won't become an issue. The rest of the user's comments seem rather tame, but I really don't want to see this sort of behavior from anyone on the site, especially not a 1-day-old member.
