These two threads pretty much sum it up. Mostly, he's just an annoying newbie who can't be arsed to check his spelling and grammar; I wouldn't bother creating this thread, except that he replied to a Staff Post. This is one to keep an eye on.
After a discussion in staffchat, we decided to send him a PM, which I have done. Here's a copy of what I sent him:

I've noticed that in your short membership, you've been very active in attempting to post ideas to the forums and seek writing assistance. As admirable as that is, you got some issues with your posting. You aren't really changing your ideas in the face of criticism, and don't seem to quite get what we're trying to achieve here. I'd like to recommend(not order) that you lurk a bit more, to get a handle on how we do things here. You also should re-read the rules and required reading, as your replied to a staff post and showed very poor grasp of English spelling and grammar.

This makes no sense, and was not really an appropriate thing to post in that thread. Please try to consider exactly where you are posting before adding this type of thing to the forums. Please don't issue challenged to random users, as it is kinda weird and doesn't reflect well on you.

Guy doesn't quite get proper etiquette. From what I'm understanding, he's basically challenging the other member to write up an idea while he writes up his (…which is pretty much what's done on the site anyway) only it's a CHALLENGE.

He comes across to me as extremely enthusiastic but yeah, not quite getting it yet. Also trying to excuse away his various grammar/spelling issues as due to being from West Virginia (…seriously?). I think that if he could just calm down, that he'd be okay. We'll see how he does.

I stated that challenge just as a little friendly competition, that I thought would have actually give both ideas a little bump.
I know you don't really know me but I have only been active on the internet for about five months, and don't really know how to articulate my self. Heck I don't even have a face-book If you need more info on me and how I role visit A.C.U ( Armored Core Universe ), But like I said I have only been there for around five months.I thank you for your understanding. After your first message I felt like crap, ha I guess I'm just out of my element.

I am kind of terribly annoyed by this kind of excuse. Ok so maybe someone can inform him that on the internet, typing with bad grammar and spelling on a forum for writing makes you sound like you have no business writing to begin with.

According to his aforementioned ACU profile, he's 17 and has an IQ of 130. Also he mentions that "my weakest point in my character is my grammer not afraid to hid it, i suck at spelling but so did einstein to most likly lesser extent."
I'd watch this guy. I'm not terribly convinced he has a habit of telling the truth, and so I'm not sure how seriously we can take him (if very much at all, even).
I already did that in one of the original threads, Soulless. And he did get better with his grammar for a bit. But quickly backslid, obviously. :-|

I hate everyone, ban them right this second Don't do that. I'm going to PM them with an official warning. Or rather, I'm going to do that if I get another staff member besides Soulless to agree it's merited, since I feel the situation is ambiguous and a consensus, even a consensus of three, is preferred. (Roget, got anything to add, since you're the one currently talking to him?)
Has he done anything since I posted my pm's? If so, then I agree. If not, wait until he does something else. Don't want to confuse them with repeated staff messages that happen regardless of behavior.

I don't think they've done anything more egregious than the above based on my perusal of their posts. I concur with your assessment.
