You win.
You kicked me when I was down and already in a depressed, brittle state of mind.
You can feel proud for driving the last nail into the coffin filled with my shattered dreams, broken hopes, and bottled up regrets.
You can joyfully claim to have made me drive to work crying, having turned a fun, just-for-kicks project that was the only bright thing in the last week of my miserable existence into something that I actually felt ashamed of.
You can join the crowd who hide behind bullshit like "I'm just giving you honest feedback" while spewing bile and hate, pointing and laughing while inflicting grievous emotional injury that you either fail to notice or don't care about.
To all of you: you've won.
I am officially resigning from Senior Staff and taking an indefinite leave of absence from the SCP community.
Administration: Please feel free to remove my access to O5 Command and the Staff IRC channel as you see fit.
TroyL: Do what you will with the tag system. It was with your blessing that the overhaul came to be in the first place.
Clef: You tried, but you can't be a peacekeeper and a friend at the same time. I don't blame you.
Bright: I regret that we didn't see eye to eye during most of our history, but I truly and honestly came to trust and respect you. I wish you the best.
Mann: I know it means nothing to you and you probably don't care, but I remember every little thing you've ever said, and those words cut like a knife. I wish you success in your publishing endeavors.
Quikngruvn: I know you're not around much and probably busy with Real Life, but I'm sorry I couldn't turn your dreams into reality. I wasn't strong enough.
Sorts: Self-deprecation may be the calling card of the modern artist, but all I need to say is that regardless of what you may believe, you have accomplished something I never could: you succeeded, even if only for a fleeting moment of glory. Don't ever give up.
To the other friends I've made along the way: Thank you for four years of your time, and all the laughs and tears and joyful moments. You kept me sane for longer than I deserved.
Project Foundation is under indefinite hiatus, and either Quikngruvn or murphy_slaw can do as they see fit with the code repository. On the off chance that the project is continued by someone else and they don't take out my proprietary object persistence code, they may keep using it under a non-transferable license from me.
Nala will continue to operate until such time that murphy_slaw deems the borrowed space on his server no longer fit to maintain or another bot replaces her. If Quik, Clef, or Sorts need her administrative command list, there are people who know how to get ahold of me off-site.
In the case that I never come back:
