What's worse is, this is the second time I have seen him do this. I warned him in the thread of a now-deleted SCP, and he's now doing it again.

Sadly, I didn't copypaste the message from the last one, and it is now deleted so I cannot go back and find it. My bad, sorry. But it was in the same vein as this post, and besides, he shouldn't have been replying to staff posts anyway.

Affirming Roget's warning, and since this is my last act before I vanish for most of the day tomorrow, I'm posting it up here.

(Also Troy just came into chat so I'll show this to him as well.)

Hello,
I am Jekeled, Senior Staff from the SCP Wiki.
In this thread, as well as in the thread of a now-deleted SCP, you have replied to staff threads with random comments. Please do not do this.
Staff posts are post chains within a discussion thread that only staff are supposed to post in, and, as you are not staff, you should not post in them.
Again, please do not post in a staff thread. If you continue to do so, your membership will be revoked.

This user has site pm'ed me a couple of times, with troll like shit. first one was

'Bright, I have a bomb attached to my shoe, what do?'

and the second

'Bright, have you had that feeling where you just wanted to see what would happen to the person you are talking to if you had just slapped them?

Plus I murdered some Mechanic today because he was wearing a wire.'

I kinda want to just ban him for trolling in general.

After my recently not-gone-right SCP that happened two weeks ago, I took to sandbox to cook up some ideas, could you please read them and correct some grammatical errors if that occurs or notify me of them?

He's been messaging me back and forth about various drafts and ideas (all of which I shot down). He's… different, and can't really read that well. I'd say this warrants removal of membership, myself. Nothing he's sent me demonstrates and understanding of our rules and procedures.

I honestly think he's 12 (and that message is barely coherent) but without proof I'm personally willing to wait and see if he follows through on that promise.

But I also wouldn't complain if my earlier recommendation was followed.

UPDATE: I decided not to respond to any messages over the first few days of Spring Break because I don't feel like it. I get six messages from Clockwork completely unprompted, so I decide to tell him not to send me any more, because I don't have the patience for the inane stuff:¹

Okay, I'm going to have to ask you to stop messaging me. This is getting ridiculous.

Six hours later (about a half hour ago), I get this:

Just a VERY quick message, how do you place an image with the caption under it? I seem to get it wrong.

I consider this proof that he lacks the problem-solving skills to locate another person to ask for help when his first choice tells him he doesn't want to be contacted. For the record, I'm responding thusly:

This site has literally hundreds of people on it who know how to place a caption under an image. You ask for help from the one individual who has asked you not to message them.

I'm just going to let you dwell on the logic of that while you do not send me any more messages.

I am extremely sorry to what had occurred the past couple of days, they were just very tiring days while I was working on exams lately. I greatly regret sending you such random and unexpected messages, I had nothing very much to do, except converse with a few users and work on Sandox. But now, what I did and told you made me seem that I am a moronic idiot. Please, take my aplogetic terms and hopefully, we can be good friends again like how we were before.

Note that I followed him on Twitter and offered my assistance when asked. How this got translated into 'good friend[ship]' I have no idea.

He should know from the Site Rules that messaging someone after they stop is a big no-no. I let the first time go without suggesting consequences, but this time, I decided to take him up on his offer, and I'm going to recommend banning.

Completely unrelated note, I'm going to be in St. Louis Tuesday through Saturday, with dubious availability/internet connection. I'm always reachable by text if my input is needed on any official issues. I do want an update on however this situation gets resolved.

Yeah. I can get behind a ban now. The first time was ignorance perhaps, but to do it again after you stated it so clearly I'm willing to treat as directly violating a stop discussion called by a moderator, which is definitely banworthy.

Over the few days I have been relentlessly sending messages to Scantron and Bright, all of which seem to be a few basic questions that I believe I shouldn't have said overall. I just feel miserable for what idiocy I had provoked towards them, (and the other fact that English is not my first language) and I take full responsibility for such actions. Please, do not ban me from this website, I dearly love it and I can assure you that I will improve with the time being. Since that, I have taken the liberty to create a resolution to such problems and tread on my own tracks, so I can leave them at peace.

I am asking you to send it to Scantron, since, he doesn't think I'm that smart and capable of completing simple tasks. Again, I go forth with deepest apologies towards them, and I sincerely wish this hadn't happened.

He's contrite and I was too swamped until today to read it or respond, which is probably why he went on to apologize to Scantron directly. Let's relax and let him be for awhile, I think he's got the point.

I'd be all about revoking membership but that's not a ban. That just means he needs to reapply and he already knows how to apply. It would be us shooing him outside but not closing the door in the hopes the he doesn't come back in.

If we're going to take action I'd prefer it be an actual ban for continuing to ignore staff directions and not being a mature member of the community like the rules require. I keep watching his forum posts and this thread but he keeps skating on the inside lines for now, but if anyone gets more tells like Bright and Scantron have described post them.
