So, I had an idea in chat last night, and figured I'd drop it here:
Each of the levels of Staff write a collab story. Admins, Mods, and Senior staff all set up to write some awesome ass tale.

And agreed, let's wait until after the judging is done on the current contest before starting another one. :-P

I personally prefer the idea of three mega-tales over three sets of tales. Something about huge, ambitious projects warms me heart-coccles.

I really like the idea of one, big, overarching narrative with contributions from everyone broken up by a bunch of side stories. Essentially, a good version of Wanderlust.

This sounds fantastic, especially as a project overseen by staff; however, it wouldn't work in this framework, which is more along the 'challenge' lines with associated strictures (must be three tales, must be split up into teams based on wiki status). Would hamstring a story of that type.
Perhaps two separate (giant, entertaining) projects?

Now… what about the normal Users?
They outnumber us by a lot, so they could split into teams to make their own megatales?

I think, after we get teams divided up, we'd need to let them decide if they want to invite users. I think a big problem will be getting people who can work well together to do this.

So long as the time table isn't anything like it was with the NYC contest, I'd be down for it. That was killer on my attention span :P

It wasn't long enough for me to get around (mentally) to all the writing and revising I wanted to do. I'd say at least two months timetable on this would be nice.
