I got the PM at the bottom of this message from user:sharha with respect to this Polish wiki

I poked around for a couple of minutes. They've done a lot of translations, and they have original content as well.

Hello.

I'm an administrator at www.scp-wiki.pl , as the name suggests it's a Polish SCP translations website. I won't be taking much of your time, thus I'll skip right to the point.

Straszy.pl - website listed as the polish SCP translations site is in stagnation, its "board" has stopped doing anything about it. "Last Changes" article would give you more insight into their activity. That's the reason why I would like to have our "real deal" website (scp-wiki.pl) listed as the polish SCP translations site. You will find our "Last Changes" to be a lot more active than straszy.pl's.

They're doing translations, they have an active community, they're making their own work, and they've translated one of mine. They've got my vote for official recognition.

Seriously, though, I like the way they're doing translations, systematically going through them one number at a time from 001 up. I like this in part because I wrote 046 and I like having pages on the foreign wikis, but also because it just seems like a fair way of doing it. Also, I imagine that if I were Polish and following the site, it really would be like having classified documents declassified one at a time, and you have no idea if the next one will be good or not (which keeps the suspense and realism going).

I've never heard of "straszy.pl", but from looking at it, it's just a translation site and isn't specifically dedicated to SCP anyway. Which is fine, but I'm liking this www.scp-wiki.pl as an official branch on the main page.

On one hand, I want to allow them in. On the other, this is very… light. The community only looks to be three or four strong. While I tentatively approve, I also want to see them grow a little. This is the least active and newest request for a front page addition we've ever gotten, hence my trepidation.

Maybe delay for a little while and see how they develop? Not very long. Few weeks, tops.

Agreed.

As a side note, I'm somewhat pleasantly surprised that we're having this explosion of "associate" SCP sites pop up. I mean, the Russians were the only ones for the longest time, then the Chinese, and now they're appearing, what? About once every month or two?

Thank you for your response, it is a really great news.

Currently, our community includes 84 member altogether. However, it is sad to say, but most of them are spam bots we have been banning. As of now, we have only 22 normal users, of which there are 5 really active.

I won't lie, our community is at a very early stage of its development. Two weeks ago, the most popular "SCP-like website" in Poland was straszy.pl and thescpfoundation.blogspot.com, but now that we have a really big number of translated and original content, I think it is safe to assume we're accelerating forward.

Google Analytics information indicates that throughout the December 2012, our website had 15-30 views a day, today the number is 80-100.

I've been perusing their site today, and it does not appear to be currently active. Could spike or somebody else with contact with their admins see what the deal is over on their end?
