After I snipped it, he reverted my snip and put his text back in. I gave him a warning for it. Judging from his replies since, it was out of confusion, not malice. Since he's apologetic about it, I don't think it should be an issue, and I don't think he'll do it again, but here's a record of it anyway, just in case.
"No WIPs on the forums" is an annoyingly confusing rule, BTW. Just my $0.02.
EDIT: To be clear, this happened yesterday, but the internet where I was failed so I didn't post 'til today.
