Well, he meets my primary criteria by having written… a lot. Not since Eskobar has a candidate been suggested whose authorship I am so strongly impressed by. It's not all gold, but then again, he's not the kind of person to delete something because it didn't get enough upvotes. I'm pleased on this front.
His author page even has a little, short commentary on each of his SCPs, which is kind of cool, really. He was classy about his guide to the guides getting downgraded. He seems to hold himself to a decent standard. Of course, he's almost fifty, so that comes with the territory, I suppose. Age and wisdom or something.
