Eight days ago, I proposed reordering the process of disciplinary escalation. This proposal has received unanimous support. Furthermore, DrMagnus proposed an additional level of reorganization, grouping staff posts and O5 posts into Info and Disciplinary posts. This additional level is more expansive/comprehensive than the primary focus, but has also received unanimous support.
Thus, I am asking for two votes: one for the basic reorganization of putting revocation AFTER warning in the disciplinary chain, leaving everything else unchanged; and one for additionally implementing Magnus' suggestion of INFO vs DISCIPLINARY records and action.
These votes are ONLY OPEN to Moderators and up, as they are directly related to disciplinary matters and the organization of O5 Command, and therefore require the judgment of more experienced staff.
First Vote: Switch Order of Revocation and Warning in Disciplinary Escalation
To me it should be (for non emergency/non-egregeious offenses which would require more immediate action):
- Log events in a non-disc thread
- When the threshold of non-disc crosses in to disc, Official warning is first disc step
- If behaviors continue, Revoke secondary disc step (24 hour ban)
- Escalation to longer bans as per current policy.

|| X|| X ||Second Vote: Reorganize Non-Disc and Disc. Staff Posts into Info and Disciplinary Posts
Proposed types:
{}: Optional
[]: List of possibilities
(): Alternate spellings/abbreviations[{Junior}Staff|Mod(erator)|Admin(istrator)] Post - INFO - [OPEN|CLOSED]: Non disciplinary staffpost
- Should be logged to O5 in a non-disc thread if it's for behavioral/quality issues. I feel that all "corrective" info posts should be closed, and logged.
- Bad Crit
- Poor Attitude
- JS Should only be allowed to info post where appropriate
[{Junior}Staff|Mod(erator)|Admin(istrator)] Staff Post - DISCIPLINARY - [Open|Closed]: An official "you fucked up" staff post. This should in my eyes be restricted to members of staff actually able to do these things (e.g. admins/disc/harassment members).* Should always be posted to O5. I'm not really sure if this would always mandate a disciplinary thread, as that's not my purview here, but my opinion on it is: yes.* JS should never be posting these. OS may have reason to post one of these, but unless they're a disc member, I can't think of when or why.@@

|| X|| X ||If we reach a positive quorum (60%) within two weeks, I will start working with O5 Command admins to implement these changes.
