After posting an SCP with a gore image (text preserved here), DrAsh posted an ASCII image on a hand raising the middle finger (gosh, I'm so proper) in the SCP-1850 spot with the following text:
Jesus Christ. A site where you are so hastily chewed up and spit out that it still leaves your head spinning. So what? It sucked. I'll just never post another SCP again, which would probably make you guys REALLY happy, wouldn't it? Kamikaze? Emo? What the hell. Since when did I become an emo stereotype? Well, now that I know just how confusing, hurtful, and fucked up this site really is, I'll take great pleasure in being one of the very few people here who actually has a goddamn life.
He then deleted it after everyone in the thread basically told him to go and get said real life. The two terms above, "Kamikaze" and "Emo", are in reference to Mackenzie's recently posted joke guide, which Bright just outlawed the use of for the purposes of putting down or demeaning authors, currently enforced under the "rudeness to users" clause in the site rules (check the newest version of the Site Rules out for punishments as according). While this is an unfortunate situation, we've already taken steps to curtail the use of these things on the forums. I see no other immediate action necessary to be taken against Mackenzie's article, as it is intended to be humorous, and it pokes fun at an aspect of the site we're all familiar with.
Either way, DrAsh has received an immediate permaban for:
- Obvious and blatant trolling (Forum posts intended to incite extreme emotional reaction, with no other purpose: this includes trolling other sites in the name of the SCP Foundation.)
Thanks all, and please note the updated policy.
