There was another one of these by user supernets in the #brainstormers IRC at 2:30 pm today - came in, pinged all staff in the room, then left. IIRC, #brainstormers is technically unofficial, but it seems worth noting that whatever this is happened a second time.

These are mundane bots, and shouldn't be logged, as they are almost always handled at the network end.

I'm glad to hear that it's just bots being bots - I was worried it was some kind of setup for trolling/doxxing/internet mischief. Regular old spam is easy to ignore.
