Hey everyone, I want to take a moment out of this busy holiday season to say:
Thank you.
Thank you for everything you do for the wiki. Thank you for volunteering time out of your lives to do the administrative scut work, that just keeps piling on. Thank you for voting, for discussing, for sacrificing social lives, at least a little bit. Thank you for writing, editing, and critiquing. Thank you for reaching out to the fanbase, for making the site work better, for deletions, crosslinking, and all that other god damn stuff that you do to make the site a better place.
We're not perfect. We can't be, by definition. But I know each of you is giving your best, and doing all you can to make this site GOOD.
I feel like the reason we still have a site, after 10 some years of this bull shit, is because of our staff. We have people who care, and more than that, will listen to outside ideas, will change their behaviour when standards change, and honestly WANT to better themselves, and this site.
I just want you to know, I'm super proud to work with all of you, and couldn't ask for a better, more appropriate team.
You guys are awesome, and I appreciate you.
