Agreed. Not just because he pulled this stunt, but because he was completely oblivious to why it was wrong.

As much as I don't like this kid at all and it doesn't matter to me whether or not he gets banned forever over this, it is not unusual for members of the chat and, as I understand certain members of Senior Staff and above to ask people for nudes. Since he didn't push the point after being shut down, invited or not he's not really doing anything that site and chat admins haven't done before repeatedly. I'm just seeing a double standard that I don't quite understand. I don't keep logs so I'm reluctant to name names, especially since some of the members aren't so active in the chat anymore, but I had been led to believe in the past that PMed requests for nudes were not unheard of. Even to people in committed relationships who had given no indication towards an interest in sharing them.
I initially planned on actually defending him here. Lord knows he's not the first person in 19 to ask for nudes of pig or anyone else, and he did take it to PMs so it seems like less of a chat matter than a personal matter for pig to take to synirc administration if she sees fit.
Then, I read that log, and all my plans to defend him went out the window. What. A. Douche. bag.
Morf, the standard here, at least in my case, arises from the manner in which he went about asking, and the way he carried on when refused as though he was proud of being disliked:

Not only did he respond with an implication about pig's fidelity, but he went on to boast about doing this sort of thing.
I don't actually have any problem with kids asking for nudes at all, but there's a difference between a friendly whatsit and just being a sleazebag.
I fully support a permaban, both from chat and if possible the wiki under the excessive rudeness rule, and encourage pig_catapult to consult with the synirc admins. This is the shit that gets users K-lined, and I wouldn't mind seeing that happen.
I fully support a chat ban, but I don't think he needs to be kicked from the wiki yet, not until he does something there. Separation of site and chat, and all that. That being said, I will be watching him extremely carefully from now of. Guy's a fuggin' creeper.

Right on I have no issue with the ban on the chat/wiki I was just wondering what precisely it was that tipped him over the edge with other similar things going on and being fine with everyone. Ban away, I say.
What's he done on the wiki is the question I'm asking. I mean, there's no harm in banning a jackass with no contributions other than pissing everyone off.
EDIT: Moose dug up his wikidot user page. No contributions besides comments to our wiki, and nothing anywhere else since January '08, which if my memory is correct, was before the current SCP one existed. So I'm voting ban.
Mm, supporting separation of chat and wiki: I'm not going to vote to ban him from the wiki till he actually does something on the wiki that's banworthy.
His attitude reminds me of tbob's non-chalance to the consequences of his actions.
chatban is fine. He hasn't done anything oin the wiki to warrant it.
