Due to high work load activity my presence for the rest of this week and likely well into next week will be severely diminished outside of the occasional memery in side channels. If anyone needs me, ping me on IRC, but I'll likely be very slow to respond.

Due to numerous IRL issues, including the begginngs of a major work project, and grad school applications, my presence and activity on site will be severely reduced. Hey folks, Just letting everyone know I'm officially settled into my thesis lab for my PhD. This, in combination with Finals and looming fall classes and other matters mean my presence on the wiki is going to take a huge hit.
Hey folks, for the next 2-3 weeks I will be severely reduced in my ability to do staffwork beyond emergencies. I'm temporarily delegating most tasks to aismallard to handle. Please note that I will be keeping an eye on most staff related channels and things that are happening within MASt. I just do not wish to be directly disturbed during this time period unless it is an emergency.
This will be due to a combination of grant proposal submission for my Pre-qualifier for my PhD program, labwork, traveling home for my best friends wedding, and actually you know, maybe starting to engage in a little romance? Either way, I'll be here if I'm really needed, I'm just taking a step back for my own health for the next few weeks.

Hey Folks,
This has been coming for awhile but events last night pushed me over the edge. In order to continue doing my job as an admin, and leading MAST and the wiki forward, I will be taking a 1-2 week sabbatical from staff work. I have been running nonstop since February of this year when I got promoted, and my nerves have been continuously frayed due to continual crises within the site and community. To preserve my mental health, I need to take a break. All MAST captainship duties during my break will pass to Yossi and McB. As far as any community initiatives that I had taken the mantle in, I'm sure someone else will pick up the slack while I am gone. Either way, for the next 1-2 weeks I will be muting/leaving all official staff channels, I will not be responding to staff specific inquiries, etc. I will be available through the normal means for site emergencies as needed, but where possible wish to not be disturbed.
I will be spending the next two weeks working on my writings, and spending time with my girlfriend and focusing on my lab/school work.
