I'm pretty sure this has been bought up many times, but is there any word on when the GoI-format hub is actually going to come out? They have all the visibility of an elephant drowning in grey paint if they're not being submitted for contests and a GoI-format hub would be a nice way to actually get people to read them, among other reasons (like the fact that it was promised as part of the GCL and the fact that people are proposing to create an artwork hub.)
As far as I can tell we on the WikiWalk team have not yet begun work on such a hub (there are many reasons for this but the most likely reason no head way exists yet is that none have been delegated to work on it/volunteered to do so.)
As far as what this kind of hub would look like, probably would be set up like a RAISA page featuring "captured documentation." Probably could organize it similarly to the current GoI page. Maybe use the little symbols too.
EDIT: As of February 7th, 2017, Greenwolf has volunteered to make a draft for the page.
Some admins were discussing this, and the goal was either to assign this, or have it done, by approximately one month from now. (Along with some other projects.) However, if WikiWalk wishes to outright take charge there, I cautiously will say I don't think there's an issue, as I'm not aware of a specific draft being made.
Keep in mind that, like all similar pages, this page would be controlled and operated (and edited) by staff.
GreenWolf has put together a very nice GoI Format Hub for us. It's clean, simple, very easy to navigate, dead simple for WikiWalk to maintain, and took a grand total of two hours to make.
If there's no objection within a week, I'll put it up on the 15th.
Can we get the individual format coding on there?
Whether you like it or not, history is on our side. We will bury you!
From GreenWolf:
I don't think putting the code for each format on the page with them is a good idea, mainly because not all goi formats /have/ fixed formats, some of them include images and css, some gois have multiple formats, etc… All of the formats, along with instructions on how to use them, are on the linked goi hubs. It's the same reason we don't include the "how to write a skip" stuff on the SCP series pages.
Draft looks good to me. Simple, and gets the job done. I like it.

Due to the above timer having expired, no negative feedback here, and no overly negative feedback on the draft page created for Greenwolf's draft, the hub has been posted to the main site by me, per Greenwolf's request. Author metadata has been updated to give GW the credit he is due.
Once again the private sector proves its superiority to government institutions
