Foundation assets embedded within the Royal Canadian Mounted Police flagged the incidents after thirteen civilians required psychiatric hospitalization under nearly identical circumstances. Witnesses consistently described seeing "a small gray bird" immediately before the onset of symptoms.
Mobile Task Force Eta-10 was deployed to investigate. SCP-9228 was located perched on a fallen cedar tree approximately 4.7 km from the nearest hiking trail.
