SCP-9227-1 is a humanoid skull with empty tooth sockets. When a non-anomalous tooth is inserted into one of SCP-9227-1’s vacant sockets, it is transformed into an instance of SCP-9227-2.
Once removed from SCP-9227-1, instances of SCP-9227-2 begin to defy gravity. Rather than falling under their own weight, they remain suspended in place and can be freely repositioned within a three-dimensional environment, maintaining their location and orientation until moved by an external force.
Instances of SCP-9227-2 pose no significant threat under normal circumstances. Their anomalous properties activate only when an instance is struck by an individual’s index finger moving at a speed of at least 27 mph (43 km/h). Contact below this threshold will merely cause the instance to drift a short distance in the direction of the applied force.
When an instance of SCP-9227-2 is successfully flicked, it will accelerate in the direction of the flick, reaching a velocity of approximately 2,700 mph (4,345 km/h).
