SCP-9692 possesses several anomalous abilities primarily associated with darkness and shadow manipulation. The entity can merge with surrounding shadows, allowing it to conceal itself, travel undetected, and relocate over short to medium distances using a dense, black, mist like substance. The maximum observed teleportation distance currently recorded is approximately 40 meters under low-light conditions. This process is not instantaneous and usually lasts between 1 and 5 seconds.
