Noting that new site member Liminal creator (account age 8 days, site membership 7 days) recently posted the following concept thread, which has multiple indicators of AI-generation: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-17859810/liminal-creator-scp-article-the-attack-butterflies
Excerpts of note:
Page Type: SCP ArticleGenre: Horror / HistoricalElevator Pitch: SCP-9392 is a swarm of anomalous entities resembling childhood "arts-and-crafts" butterflies made of paper and straws. They emit a high-pitched whistle that induces a powerful shared hallucination of a tranquil, flowery field. While victims are trapped in this peaceful state, the swarm physically attacks, draining blood through quarter-sized holes in the throat.
What makes mine different from others?: The subversion of "peace" as a predatory weapon. Most horror focuses on fear, but this focuses on the danger of feeling too content. The contrast between a harmless-looking paper toy and the gruesome image of it digging into a throat creates a strong uncanny feeling from an innocent looking toy
Compare with the user's sandbox: https://scp-sandbox-3.wikidot.com/liminal-bot-scp-9392
Due to it being fast, dangerous, and having tens of thousands of instances, capturing all instances is nearly impossible, though the captured ones can be controlled slightly, and they can put their effect on anomalies, so the anomalies can be destroyed and/or captured by the foundation.
When addressed about AI usage, the user replied: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-17859810/liminal-creator-scp-article-the-attack-butterflies#post-8013340
I did not use ai in the actual full version, but I did use it to correct my grammar and spelling in this, is that still against the policies?
Of note, the user's current wikidot "about" states:
I am a guy who loves writing and making creepy stories, videos, and images, I do use ai for my writing and most art, I do use it occasionally, but never for writing or on the wiki in any sort
