Noting that on 7/29 through 7/31 I will be going to several concerts with my girlfriend, and will be away from all computers for the vast majority of those three days. I will be returning first thing on 8/1.

One is a dual headline with Panic! At The Disco and Weezer, with Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness opening.
The other is a dual headline featuring Brand New and Modest Mouse. The latter is my favorite band, so I've had tickets since January.

Eh, P!ATD had a winner with their first album, after that they sort of swerved all over the place (mostly in godawful backalleys), but the latest album is good. I very much dig Emperor's New Clothes. Have fun. :)
Pretty Odd is where it's at, though they've at least had some good songs every album!
If favorite album is based on ratio of liked songs to didn't really like songs, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out wins for me. Love the synth and the organ.
The song I play on repeat most often is Collar Full, though.
With you on the album. Build God, Then We'll Talk is definitely my favorite ever P!ATD song. Got A Fever as a souvenir on my 2006 4-week US trip, so there's a lot of memories tied to the album. It's also linked to Tim Power's Declare since it was on repeat while I was reading that. :)

For those of you who don't know, May is "Get your medical school application ready" season, which means Conwell has to get his medical school application ready. This is a pretty long process, so it will pull my attention away from the wiki to a degree.
I'll still be in IRC as often as I can, I'll still lead wikiwalk and do my crosslinks, and I'll still crit and help run deletions/other mod duties, etc. However, at least until mid June I will be working at a "I have stuff to do IRL too" pace.

I'm moving from the West Coast (best coast) to the East Coast for education reasons. My girlfriend and I decided to turn the trip into a bit of a road trip, so I'll be effectively gone from August 3rd to August 14th. I'll have my laptop with me, of course, and will check in to the IRC frequently and will respond to PMs as quickly as I can, but for the most part will not be doing deletions, wikiwalk duties, etc.
