Vipbeast (account age 4 days) recently posted the following concept threads, which all have multiple indicators of AI-generation:
http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-17623205/the-town-lacking-an-hour
A small town experiences a nightly temporal anomaly in which every clock jumps from 03:16 AM to 04:18 AM, creating the illusion of a missing hour. Instruments confirm that the hour still passes in real time, but residents remember nothing of it. During this interval, a tall shadow-like humanoid entity moves through the streets, causes vandalism and sometimes death before vanishing when normal time resumes. By morning, unexplained damage, missing people, and deaths are often discovered. Investigators monitoring the phenomenon notice the entity repeatedly returning to the same abandoned house, suggesting the location may be central to the anomaly’s origin or purpose. The article primarily explores the anomaly through incident logs, observation reports, and exploration logs, documenting the escalating consequences of the Missing Hour and the Foundation’s attempts to understand the entity responsible for it.

Seeking Greenlights: YES PLEASE
Page Type: SCP Article
Genre (Optional): History, Horror, Suspense
Elevator Pitch: A town experiences a nightly temporal anomaly where time skips from 03:16 AM to 04:18 AM, while a shadow-like entity moves freely during the lost hour. Foundation investigation reveals that the phenomenon appears tied to a single abandoned house in the town.
Central Narrative: A small town experiences a nightly temporal anomaly in which every clock jumps from 03:16 AM to 04:18 AM, creating the illusion of a missing hour. Instruments confirm that the hour still passes in real time, but residents remember nothing of it. Hook/Attention-Grabber (Optional): What sets this apart from other SCPs whose plot revolves around time theme and time loop is that there is a separate Anomaly appearing only in that specific time interval. Also the house is a pivotal part of the lore and will explain gradually why everything is happening.
Additional Notes (Optional): I would be grateful for any kind of reviews whatsoever.

When addressed about the use of AI, the user replied:

It isnt man i can do anything to prove it to you. How does it look AI-Generated?

I will do anything anyone asks me to prove that this isnt AI generated. ANYTHING. I myself despise use of AI. I am actually really proficient at english language. I never use any AI for any literary purposes as it constitutes to AI Plagiarism, which is a serious offence in my country (India). Futhermore, this idea is entirley original, and youll find no overlapping or inconsistencies with other SCPs or creepypastas (which AIs generallt tend to do).

AI detectors aren’t reliable proof of authorship, especially for structured writing like SCP articles. The SCP format naturally uses a neutral, report-style tone, which is exactly the type of writing AI detectors often misclassify. Similar wording also happens because SCP entries share common terminology like “temporal anomaly,” “entity,” and “investigation logs.”
The examples you generated from AI also differ significantly in structure: they provide a clear explanation involving a physicist experiment and resolve the mystery, while my narrative intentionally leaves the anomaly unexplained and focuses on investigation logs and escalating incidents. Similar themes like time anomalies or shadow entities are extremely common in SCP and horror fiction, so overlap in ideas isn’t unusual.
Because of that, similarity alone isn’t evidence of AI usage.
Furthermore, i havent provided any closure or explanation of this lore and tried to end this story as i intend to progress this story with help of others who are experienced in this sorta thing.

sooooo, where do i post my pitch for greenlights?
Thread summary of second concept thread:
