Noting that new site member
Julesistehbest (account age 23 days, site membership 22 days) recently coldposted the following page, which has multiple indicators of AI-generation: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-8293 page title "Scp 8293-The Listener"
**Item #:** 8293
**Object Class:** Euclid
**Special Containment Procedures:**
SCP-8293 is contained in a reinforced humanoid containment chamber at Site-19, measuring 6 m × 6 m × 6 m. The chamber must be illuminated at all times by overhead full-spectrum lighting. Lighting failures exceeding 3 seconds are to trigger immediate site lockdown and deployment of Mobile Task Force Psi-7 (“Night Watch”).
No personnel are permitted to enter SCP-8293’s chamber between 00:00 and 04:00 local time. Audio monitoring is strictly prohibited during this period. Visual observation may continue via closed-circuit cameras only.
Personnel who report hearing their own voice over site intercoms during night hours are to be administered Class-B amnestics and reassigned pending psychological evaluation.
**Description:** SCP-8293 is a humanoid entity approximately 2.1 meters tall, with a body composition consistent with a human adult male. Its facial features are anatomically correct but remain in a constant state of subtle distortion, as though viewed through rippling water. SCP-8293 does not blink, and its eyes reflect no light.
The entity is normally inert during daylight hours, remaining seated or standing motionless. Between 00:00 and 04:00, SCP-8293 becomes active and exhibits anomalous properties related to auditory mimicry and spatial displacement.
SCP-8293 is capable of perfectly reproducing the voices of individuals it has previously observed, including tone, cadence, and emotional inflection. These vocalizations do not originate from SCP-8293’s physical location, but instead manifest from nearby rooms, ventilation systems, or directly behind targeted individuals.
When unobserved during its active period, SCP-8293 is able to reposition itself within a radius of approximately 300 meters without triggering motion sensors or cameras. How this relocation occurs remains unknown.

Addendum 8293-1: Incident Log
On ██/██/20██, a Site-19 night technician responded to an intercom message requesting maintenance in Hallway C. The voice matched the technician’s own.
Security footage shows the technician entering Hallway C at 02:17. SCP-8293 was later discovered occupying the technician’s workstation at 02:19, seated upright and facing the monitor.
The technician has not been recovered.

When asked about AI usage, and later for clarification about their "friend", they responded: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-17572735/scp-8293#post-7522911
I did get a little help from my friend who has posted on this forum before (I would have to ask her which one she uploaded) and is that against the rules? She told me I needed to be more descriptive because I’m not the best writer, I’ve even had a page or 2 of mine taken down before. I’m not a very good writer lol
Response: well like I said earlier I don’t remember which post she made, so I’d have to ask her next time we hang out, which when it happens I will get back to you if my page doesn’t get taken down, I’m just a little new to the site and trying my best to write a good story.
