Noting that new site member
MrOliver (account age 14 days, site membership 8 days) recently coldposted the following page, which has multiple indicators of AI-generation: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-9983
Revision 0 retained; user later made some edits to change SCP number designation at start to "pending", uncapitalize "Hell", and rename pages. Of note, Revision 6 removes material with clear AI tells, and does not have an edit comment despite user making multiple previous like "Changed the page title from having the name of the SCP in it." and "Added the containment site." and "Forgot that the strikethrough doesn't work there." and "Fucking hell, I hope there isn't a number named "Pending""
Item #: SCP-9983
Object Class: Pending
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-9983 is to be contained within a 3m x 3m x 3m cell. The windows must be bullet-proof and one-way to ensure safety. The doors must be quadruple-locked at all times. At least two (2) armed guards must be protecting the door at all times. No personnel shall enter the cell.
Description: SCP-9983 takes the appearance of a normal blue ball, 0.29 metres in width and 0.3 metres in height. When agitated, SCP-9983 will stretch into the size for where the personnel in front of SCP-9983 can enter easily. The entrance will be black, until it shows the first circle of Hell, Limbo. After a few seconds, SCP-9983 will reach out with tentacles, wrapping around the personnel in front. After the personnel has entered Hell, SCP-9983 will close, trapping the personnel.
SCP-9983 has been seen sticking to walls, waiting for personnel to enter as we can see from an image Chief Researcher ██████ shortly after being sent to Limbo.
If SCP-9983 ever breaches containment, please do NOT make any sound. It is highly dependent on sound and will use even the slightest of noise to its advantage. It can fluently speak Latin and English, see Interview Log-9983-01
SCP-9983 was created by ████ █████ after wanting to give people a “view of hell” and had no intent for SCP-9983 to become sapient sentient.
