Noting that
zevilstick (account age 100 days, site membership 95 days) recently posted the following draft critique thread, which has multiple indicators of AI-generation: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-17567747/critique-request:scp-8856-conceptless-entity-sandbox-link
Hello, this is my first SCP draft.
I would appreciate critique on concept clarity, tone, and structure.

Thank you!
The sandbox linked has many other AI indicators. Full draft present in Revision 0 (retained), user later attempted to edit the text to remove AI tells. Detailed breakdown of indicators has been provided by solarsail in this comment: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-17567747/critique-request:scp-8856-conceptless-entity-sandbox-link#post-7508032

**Item #:** SCP-8856
**Object Class:** Keter
**Special Containment Procedures:**
No viable containment procedures for SCP-8856 currently exist.
Foundation personnel are strictly prohibited from attempting to
define, categorize, or conceptualize SCP-8856 beyond the parameters
outlined in this document. Any proposal involving direct containment,
neutralization, or conceptual analysis of SCP-8856
has been deemed nonviable by current Foundation consensus.
All research regarding SCP-8856 must be conducted through indirect
observation of anomalous phenomena believed to be associated with
its presence. Requests to access classified information known only
to SCP-8856 are grounds for immediate denial
and reassignment of involved personnel.
**Description:**
SCP-8856 is an anomalous entity whose existence cannot be adequately
described through conventional concepts, language, or classification
systems.
Attempts to define SCP-8856 as either a concept or a non-concept have
consistently failed. SCP-8856 does not recognize itself under any
ontological framework currently known to the Foundation.
The entity is believed to reside within what has been described in
multiple independent records as "nothingness." This state is not a
location, dimension, or void, but rather the absence of all definable
properties. No verified method exists to observe this state directly.
SCP-8856 does not display hostility toward humanity. Current analysis
suggests that this is not due to benevolence, but rather because
humanity lacks the capacity to exert any meaningful influence upon
the entity.
Any recorded action, phenomenon, or effect that would
cause harm, alteration, or negative influence to SCP-8856
has been observed to immediately reduce itself to zero.
In all recorded cases, such effects appear to
have never occurred.
SCP-8856 demonstrates the ability to redefine all forms of language,
non-verbal communication, concepts, and non-concepts under a system
known only to itself. These redefinitions are not accessible, interpretable,
or reversible by Foundation methods.
**Addendum 8856-1:** Discovery Log
SCP-8856 was not discovered through direct observation, but through
the investigation of a recurring anomalous absence.
On ██/██/20██, a D-Class personnel was instructed to draft a hypothetical
containment plan for an unidentified anomaly later designated SCP-8856.
The individual disappeared mid-task, leaving no physical, digital,
or conceptual trace of their existence.
Subsequent reviews of security footage, documentation, and personnel
records confirmed that the individual had retroactively ceased to
exist in all relevant systems.
**Addendum 8856-2:** Information Hazard Notice
Personnel attempting to formulate containment strategies, uncover
information known exclusively to SCP-8856, or impose definitive
understanding upon the entity have consistently resulted in immediate
loss of the individual involved.
Recovered testimonies describe the affected personnel as having
"fallen into an infinite void," with no recorded instances of return.
Due to the nature of SCP-8856, further experimentation has been
classified as unnecessary and hazardous.

When addressed about the concept seeming similar to an existing SCP article, the user replied with an AI-generated response: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-17567747/critique-request:scp-8856-conceptless-entity-sandbox-link#post-7508021
Thank you for pointing that out! I can see how there’s a functional similarity to SCP‑2747, particularly in how both concepts deal with reality-altering effects. However, my concept is intentionally focused on an existence-defying meta-entity—something that cannot be classified, contained, or even conceptually understood—while SCP‑2747 operates specifically through narrative and perception. I appreciate the feedback and will make sure to clarify these distinctions in the documentation.
When called out on the AI, they lied about the usage: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-17567747/critique-request:scp-8856-conceptless-entity-sandbox-link#post-7508042
Thanks for your feedback! I got some help using AI translation, but I wrote the draft myself and checked it to make sure it said what I meant. I didn’t just copy the AI’s words. I also used AI to understand the meaning of some words, but I wrote everything myself. I’m sorry for the misunderstanding that it looked like I copied it.
