Foundation records state the Archivist was not “found.”
He arrived. During a routine morning shift, a humanoid figure appeared in the hallway outside Temporal Containment. No alarms triggered. No cameras registered his arrival. He simply existed, holding an old wooden box.
He approached a Level-3 researcher, handed them the box, and said:
“This is the future you avoided. I believe it belongs to you.” Security teams attempted to detain him, but every method failed but he allowed himself to be escorted for questioning.
When asked who he was, he responded:
“I am the keeper of futures that were never meant to happen. You called me here.”
The Foundation had no record of summoning him.
