Item #: SCP-9179
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-9179 is to remain locked and inaccessible to the public under the cover story of an abandoned automotive repair facility. A standard perimeter fence and one security officer on rotating shift are sufficient for containment.
Only authorized personnel may drive Foundation vehicles into SCP-9179 for maintenance. All items, parts, and modified components produced by SCP-9179 must be cataloged and stored for study unless directly installed onto a vehicle.
Testing or repairs involving anomalous vehicles (including SCP-9022) require Level-3 approval.
Description:
SCP-9179 is a standard-sized automotive garage with a roll-up entrance door. The building’s interior appears normal—containing hydraulic lifts, tool racks, workbenches, and tire stations—yet none of these tools display wear or require power to function.
When any vehicle (cars, trucks, motorcycles, ATVs, even bicycles) is fully driven into SCP-9179, the anomaly activates. Within approximately 3–6 seconds, the vehicle will:
•Be completely repaired regardless of damage severity
•Be fully refueled with the correct fuel type
•Be cleaned to factory-level condition (interior + exterior)
•Have all missing components replaced
SCP-9179 additionally generates any requested part or modification, including but not limited to:
Nitrous systems
Wide-body kits
Custom bumpers, headlights, exhausts
Tires, suspension systems, sound systems
Engine upgrades beyond current technological capability
Replacement parts appear in nearby tool trays or directly installed onto the vehicle. Requests do not need to be spoken; the garage appears to react to the driver’s intent.
Primary Foundation Usage:
SCP-9179 is regularly used for maintenance and rapid recovery of Foundation vehicles. Most notably, the structure has proven essential in restoration of SCP-9022, which frequently sustains damage during field operation. The garage repairs SCP-9022 automatically without malfunction, suggesting it recognizes anomalous machinery similarly to non-anomalous vehicles.
Addendum 9179-A — Testing Notes
•2009 Ford Transit Before: Bullet damage, empty tank After: Fully restored, paint retouched
•Foundation ATV Before: Broken axle, mud-logged engine After: Restored + optional nitrous kit generated without request
•Bicycle Before: Rusted, bent spokes After: Fully replaced with new frame + fresh chain
•██-Series Tactical Truck Before: Engine destroyed in SCP-███ incident After: Fully rebuilt, new engine block installed within 5 seconds
Scp 9179-B — Interview Log
Interviewed: Dr. Harlan (Lead researcher assigned to SCP-9179)
Interviewer: Agent Colburn
Vehicle Present: 1994 Honda Civic (severely damaged — engine failure, shattered windows, no wheels)
<Begin Log>
Agent Colburn: Doctor, you requested another test today? This’ll be your fourth time this week.
Dr. Harlan: Yes. Purely for research purposes. (He gestures toward the vehicle.) This specimen was selected due to… scientific potential.
Agent Colburn: That’s a Civic with no engine.
Dr. Harlan: A challenge builds character.
(The car is pushed into SCP-9179. The garage door rolls shut automatically. After five seconds, the door reopens on its own.)
Agent Colburn: …Is that a wide body kit?
Dr. Harlan: AND A TURBOCHARGER.
Look at this beauty. Clean paint, polished chrome... my god. It even fixed the cup holder.
Agent Colburn: You didn’t request any upgrades, did you?
Dr. Harlan: I might have been thinking about it. Internally. Quietly. Maybe.
Agent Colburn: Foundation protocol states you can’t use this SCP for personal projects, Doctor.
Dr. Harlan: This is for the betterment of science, Agent Colburn. If the Foundation ever needs to outrun hostile entities at 240 miles per hour, you’re welcome.
(Agent Colburn sighs, begins writing notes.)
Agent Colburn: Have you tested non-transport items?
Dr. Harlan: Once. I drove a shopping cart inside. It rolled out as a cart with suspension, disc brakes, and a steering wheel. I tried it myself — smooth as butter.
Agent Colburn: …Why did you- you know what nevermind

Incident Report SCP 9179-F — “The Forklift Incident”
Dr. Harlan successfully installed a turbocharger, reinforced roll cage, and underglow lighting onto standard Foundation forklift FLK-3 using SCP-9179. When questioned, he claimed it was “for cargo efficiency testing.”
During efficiency testing, Dr. Harlan reached 86 mph in Storage Wing-C, drifting between shipping crates with remarkable enthusiasm.
Agent Colburn pursued on foot, unsuccessfully.
The chase ended after Harlan collided with a pallet of containment-grade steel bars, resulting in minimal injury but significant bruising to his dignity. FLK-3 was driven back into SCP-9179 and restored to original factory condition — including removal of neon underglow against Harlan’s protests.
Disciplinary Action: Dr. Harlan is no longer authorized to be in SCP 9179's containment chamber. He has also been demoted, Dr. Harlan is now only authorized to Class 2 and lower.

https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-9175 full page in revision 0, author made one edit to change phrasing, such as "Test notes:" to "Addendum 9175-A — Testing Log:" and "Fuel test: Vehicle required no fuel; dashboard indicated “F” the entire test even though there is no gas tank" to "Fuel test: Vehicle required no fuel; dashboard indicated a full tank the entire test despite not having a gas tank"
Item #: SCP-9175
Object Class: Safe
Description:
SCP-9175 is a 1998 Toyota Supra. Notably, the vehicle lacks an engine, transmission, fuel system, and all standard internal components, (besides the braking and steering mechanisms.) Despite this, SCP-9175 is fully drivable and capable of speeds exceeding those of a stock Supra, likely due to its reduced weight.
SCP-9175 does not require any form of fuel, electricity, or external energy source to operate. The vehicle can accelerate, brake, and turn with normal or enhanced responsiveness, despite the absence of any mechanical or electronic systems.
Interior inspection reveals only the bare chassis, steering wheel, and seats. All standard instrument panels are nonfunctional, but SCP-9175 appears to respond intuitively to driver input.
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-9175 is to be stored in a standard vehicle containment garage at Site-79. The garage must remain locked when not in use. SCP-9175 may be operated for testing purposes by personnel with a valid Level-2 driving authorization.
No maintenance or fuel is required, but SCP-9175 should be driven only on enclosed test tracks or controlled areas. All testing logs are to be submitted to the Site Director for review.
Addendum 9175-A — Testing Log:
•Test #1, 0–60 mph acceleration: Reached 60 mph in 3.1 seconds
•Test #2, Top speed: Max speed recorded: 212 mph; braking fully functional
•Test #3, Cornering: Handled turns normally; no signs of instability despite missing suspension components
•Test #4, Fuel test: Vehicle required no fuel; dashboard indicated a full tank the entire test despite not having a gas tank
Addendum 9175-B — Discovery
SCP-9175 was recovered from an abandoned racetrack in Okayama, Japan. Initial witnesses reported the car driving itself on the track at night, despite being stripped of all mechanical components. Recovery was conducted without incident.
