The holy xenomorph posted SCP-2535, which is essentially just the xenomorph from the Alien franchise.

Special Containment Procedures: The SCP is to be kept on planet LV-246 at all times and is not to be interfered with at all unless a 80% majority vote from the O5 council. If an instance of SCP 2535 is to end up on any populated world other than Earth that said world is to be quarantined until [DATA EXPUNGED] has occurred. If an instance of SCP 2535 is to appear on Earth all sites are to go on immediate lockdown and retrieval teams are to capture the SCP.

Description: SCP 2535 is a partially humanoid animal that is approximately 2-3 meters tall when up right and has a tail that is approximately 1-2 meters long. The afore mentioned SCP has a corrosive acid for blood and is extremely resilient. SCP 2535's life cycle is quite interesting, its life begins in an egg. (now SCP 2535- 1) the egg when near a living presence (see addendum A) opens up with 4 flanges and with almost explosive force a "face hugger" (SCP 2535- 2) tries to latch onto any lifeform that is near by on the facial region mainly covering the mouth nose and all other openings on the face except for the ears. The victim (now SCP 2535- 3) will be kept alive for a gestation period for approximately 2-5 days (results vary) and after that period the "face hugger" comes off the victim and dies. Roughly 1 hour to 48 hours later a infant form of SCP 2535- 4 will force its way out of the victim's stomach region causing death of the victim due to blood loss. SCP 2535- 4 will now hide in any place it can find to grow and roughly 2-7 hours later a mature state of SCP 2535- 4 will appear and then take people and create a nest while awaiting for SCP 2535- 5 to appear. SCP 2535- 5 is the breeder form of SCP 2535- 4 and in popular culture SCP 2535- 5 is considered as the queen of the other instances of SCP 2535- 4.

Addendum: A cryogenically preserved form of SCP 2535- 1 was brought in from planet LV-426 and was given a variety of stimuli. SCP 2535-1 reacted to only those that bore any sort of life force (except plants) and SCP 2535- 2 leapt out and latched itself onto the animal. the afore mentioned happened and SCP 2535- 4 was "introduced" into the new environment and in that test Scientists realized that SCP 2535- 4 had many forms based of what animal it gestated in and chose the main affinities that the victim had.

I know you're excited to post an SCP to the wiki; that's great, but we expect more than just pop culture phenomena turned into SCPs. Go back and read all the Writing Guides. Start with How to Write an SCP and work forward from there. There's no rush to write an SCP.

Went straight to Summary Deletion, witnessed by Piefish. Banned the user for plagiarism. FWIW, the user had no sandbox activity, no forum posts, and the only activity on the wiki was posting this article.

I'm inclined to disagree. While Xenomorph666 has been problematic, he's generally well-meaning, has his own sandbox, and solicits critique in chat fairly often. I've not seen anything from him that indicates he might try to commit plagiarism.

Xenomorph has been a problem on chat and has shown a bit of excessiveness with the "lol I'm actually xenomorph" thing (and this is coming from the raccoon guy), but this doesn't really match him, I agree. I feel this is far more likely to be an independent user.

I was investigating this guy's ban to make sure it was in order, and I'd like to advocate for removing the ban. If my understanding is correct, this was not plagiarism, only foolishness. They were not trying to pass off someone else's work as their own, but to instead write up a pop culture reference as an SCP. (The text appears to be their own.)

Another issue is that (like many, many other threads in the past year which I am not individually posting on), no ban vote is recorded here. Quik was within rights to use admin fiat to ban, but such fiat bans need to be confirmed by a Disciplinary vote.

Please vote for or against this ban. I've removed the ban for now to ensure the vote properly takes place.

No on perma ban, and they've been informally banned for such a length now that I'm fine with removing the ban properly.

Non-disc, but just noting for the record that first time offenses like this have not usually been permanent bans, as evidenced in this thread I literally just pulled from recent posts, and a ton of others I'm too lazy to find.

I'll agree that in this case, the dude was just being a dip, and I'm okay with the ban being removed.

That said, plagiarism has historically been a reason for an instant permaban if someone truly attempts to pass someone else's work off as their own on the wiki. It falls under "other severe misconducts." The thing that makes this different in my eyes is that it's really, really unlikely that he thought we'd believe he invented xenomorphs, and more likely he just didn't understand how our site works and was doing a pop culture reference, like we used to do back in the day.

Yes, but the thread Procyon linked is of the same type — not plagiarism, but just 'writing up something from pop culture as an SCP, which they clearly expected everyone to recognize'.

With at least three people from either Disciplinary or Administration voting, the ban is now considered rescinded. Barring a Disciplinary member or admin objecting (well, two objections, since there are four votes in favor of rescinding the ban at this time), this issue is concluded for now.

Hopefully if this user does come back, they don't just try to do the same thing over again…
