SCP-9137 is a black rose measuring approximately 34 cm in height.
Its petals are matte black, absorbing approximately 99.7% of visible light.
SCP-9137 does not wither, decay, or display any detectable biological degradation regardless of temperature, pressure, radiation exposure, or complete absence of water or atmosphere.
Material analysis has consistently produced no results. (See Addendum 9137-01 and 9137-02.)
Direct physical contact with SCP-9137 by any living organism results in **instantaneous organ failure**.
Death occurs within milliseconds and is irreversible.
SCP-9137 produces small black seeds (designated SCP-9137-A) at irregular intervals.
