Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-8395-X is confined within a stabilized six-dimensional hexeract1 housed at Site-M4-1 (Phobos). While active, It projects a conditional semantic lattice that permits limited observation of SCP-8395-X and preserves causal persistence within its interior. All scientific recordings of SCP-8395-X must be conducted using non-digital instruments and analog control interfaces. When obtained, telemetry is to be duplicated immediately to analog and audit systems; no single digital copy may exist. External hardware responsible for maintaining stability of said construct — and enabling traversal to and from higher-dimensional planes — must be manually inspected and repaired every 2–4 months (subject to fluctuation).
In the event hexeract integrity falls beneath 0.5, all non-essential personnel are to be evacuated, powering down all noncritical informational systems, and directing all available power to re-energizing and repair of hexeract.

Description: SCP-8395-X manifests as a humanoid male approximately 195 cm (6 feet 5 inches) in height. It is clothed in a tattered blue parka, black sweater, loose black pants, and white closed-toe fluffy slippers. A bone-white mask — adorned with a single row of stylized grinning teeth — conceals its face. It remains unclear whether this mask is a separate object or fused to SCP-8395-X’s anatomy. As all attempts to remove or scan beneath have failed—often causing localized memory corruption or total equipment failure. Beneath its clothes, SCP-8395-X's anatomy appears necrotic and charred, exhibiting a pattern of decay not biologically catalogued. Curiously, its hair remains largely unaffected — strands split jet-black and partly white. Surrounding SCP-8395-X is a persistent field of altered causality described operationally as an Event Horizon of Zilch-Persistence (EHZP).
Within the EHZP, empirical measures of existence fail: mass/energy instruments report absence without residue; recording media produce gaps that synthesize into symbol-voids; eyewitness memory collapses to blank space. SCP-8395-X's primary anomalous property (referred to as the Null Principle) is ontological nullification — not mere destruction, but the removal of being from the frame of reference responsible for predication. Objects, events, information, and abstract constructs that enter SCP-8395-X’s effective radius lose the property of having-been. This loss is absolute: physical remnants, causal traces, and memory referents are absent. Importantly, the *concept* of those objects can become unformulable within affected cognitive systems; mathematical attempts to represent SCP-8395-X’s effect yield undefined values (commonly rendered by Foundation computation as NaN/Ω-∅). SCP-8395-X exhibits two behavioral states:

• Prejudice(Triggered): If provoked, coerced, or if hexeract is forcibly attenuated, SCP-8395-X enters a state of focused agency. The entity becomes deathly silent; acoustic monitors record a flatline with a high amplitude low-frequency signature interpretable only as “silence that registers as presence.” Vocalization in this state is rare—only short, definitive utterances have been recorded. Physical interaction in Prejudice State results in immediate ontological subtraction of the target. Whereas, if brute force occurs, the effect is not more energy — it is *less* ontology: systems report that resistance ceases to be a predicate.

Senior radio operator: Exactly. So could you please do us a favor and activate your tether system? If we lose you to the void, I have no doubt you’ll find a way to break out and terrorize me with your newfound power.
Dr. Kashimo: Who says I haven’t already?

Due to terminal 007's interference, the hexeract's external components activated unprompted, causing the tether system and gateway to go haywire and resulting in Dr. Kashimo being lost to the sixth dimension for a short period. Upon their return they were trailed by a 10-ft-tall feminine robot, moving with such fluidity medical staff were left speechless. As she turned her gaze from her newly operating servos to onlookers, she nodded and departed without further interaction.

When the gateway malfunctioned, widespread corruption occurred across surveillance systems focused on SCP-8395-X. This, coupled with damaged servers, caused loss of contact with Dr. Kashimo while she was trapped in the sixth dimension. While most recordings were lost, a single personal recorder belonging to SCP-8395-X survived — partially intact. What remains is extremely concerning.

Dr. Kashimo: Mmm. Well, can you give them a real name for our destination? I've just been referring to is as "infinity", so it isn't really giving a proper explanation. And that THING didn't speak in a human tongue and you seemed to understand soooo… ya know, name?
SCP-8395-X: he called it the "in-between". which is aptly misnamed, because the concepts of space and time were invalid. and technically it wasn't even a physical place. more of a thought realm that his "presence" could mold on a whim.
Dr. Kashimo: So, this is point at where I woke, which means now I have to give my portion of the events on the record. First things first, it was hell. NOT actual hell, but it felt like it. It was nonsensical, as 8395-X put it "it wasn't physical", everything felt hazy, and it was hard to breathe, Most of the time my lungs and eyes felt like they were melting in my chest and skull. But that wasn't the worse of it, you must experience to truly understand, to know the feeling of being pulled into every direction. The shredding as your very sense of self is scattered across time. Even in this metal shell I can still feel it, some pieces still missing to the void…the entity labeled 13-11 Ultra managed to provoke SCP-8395-X into its prejudice state. Which resulted in me being able to witness the unhindered effects of the NULL Principle

Following the events of the “In-Between Incident,” SCP-8395-X has demonstrated an alarming expansion of its *Null Principle* — capable of direct physicalization. Whereas prior phenomena involved passive conceptual erasure, recent encounters suggest a distinct brute-state mode: a paradoxical co-expression of infinite absence within finite form.
SCP-8395-X: “Sometimes the best way to erase something… is to hit it hard enough that it forgets what it ever was.”
Foundation researchers classify this as the Duality Mode — where SCP-83954’s Null Principle translates to pure, destructive output. Within this state, conceptual negation *stacks* into kinetic force, yielding measurable effects inconsistent with known physics.

Due to escalation of SCP-8395-X’s anomalous influence, Dr. Kashimo and Foundation engineering teams have deployed multiple Reality Anchors around Site-M4-1 and the surrounding Phobos orbit. These anchors are designed to stabilize the local fabric of reality against SCP-8395-X’s passive erosion effect, which intensified following its return from the In-Between. In tandem with its abilities, Phobos suffers occasional space distortions — periods in which the moon seemingly vanishes from our realm into higher-dimensional layers. These events last 6–11 minutes and recur every few weeks. Current data shows no lasting psychological or physical effects to on-site personnel.
