As such, instances of SCP-9000 are entirely autonomous in their actions which can lead to consequences that are negative for humanity. As of present, there are three distinct classifications of SCP-9000 instances to group manifestations into, classified as: SCP-9000-1, SCP-9000-2 and SCP-9000-3.
Recorded instances of SCP-9000 strongly suggest that the phenomena has a corresponding relation to the active level of religious practices a region possesses. This in turn determines both the instance’s level of hostility and the instance’s ability to interact with its environment.
In regions where religious worship is low or otherwise negligible, instances of SCP-9000-1 appear.
