First Picture Taken of 8526-1
**Special Containment Procedures**
Due to SCP-8526’s mobility, autonomous behavior, global manifestation capability, and unpredictable reaction to provocation, direct containment is currently unfeasible. Standard containment protocols have been replaced with a dynamic observation and mitigation framework.
Global Monitoring System ("Project Ghost Hauler"):
An AI-driven surveillance network integrated into national traffic camera systems across over 30 countries. It uses vehicle recognition algorithms to detect SCP-8526's distinct vehicle profile (see Appendix 8526-VP), including model, coloration, and anomalous lack of license data.
Civilian Exposure Management:
Civilians involved in SCP-8526-related incidents are to be:
Immediately debriefed and assessed by Foundation field agents embedded in local law enforcement agencies.
Issued Class-B amnestics where applicable.
Monitored for 30 days for receipt of anomalous mail packages (see Addendum 8526-A1: Package Manifest Events).
Behavioral Containment Guidelines:
SCP-8526 adheres to all local traffic laws unless:
Provoked by road rage, obstruction, or perceived aggression.
Attempted by civilians or law enforcement to stop, search, or hinder the vehicle.
Under provocation, SCP-8526 will engage in highly precise vehicular intimidation or assault, ranging from near-misses to complete destruction of the aggressor’s vehicle, followed by delivery of anomalous packages to the individual's home address. These packages may include:
Taxidermized remains of long-deceased pets.
Partial remains of deceased relatives (where applicable).
Non-anomalous but emotionally significant heirlooms destroyed in transit.
These packages have no detectable return address and materialize via unknown means.
Engagement Protocols (Level 2 and Higher Incidents):
DO NOT attempt to forcibly stop, enter, or redirect SCP-8526.
DO NOT attempt to remove SCP-8526-2 from the cab. In such cases, SCP-8526-2 will exit the vehicle armed with a non-anomalous but functional 12-gauge double-barrel shotgun, and will use lethal force if it perceives a threat to SCP-8526-1.
SCP-8526-2 is known to refer to Foundation agents as "state looters" and appears cognitively displaced to the early 1980s.
Long-Term Containment Efforts:
Temporal Displacement Research: Foundation Temporal Anomalies Division is investigating the possibility that SCP-8526-2 is an echo or fragment of a deceased individual (see Case File: Burton, Henry – D.O.D. 1989), whose consciousness has fused with or reanimated through SCP-8526.
Reverse-Tracking Project ("Manifest Ledger"): A growing truck manifest (see separate file) containing details of SCP-8526’s delivery history is being analyzed to identify potential patterning, symbolic cargo, or destinations of significance.
Containment Expansion Authorization Pending: SCP-8526’s global reach and non-territorial nature has prompted proposals for new international agreements (codename: Operation Black Rig) for Foundation personnel to operate across borders without diplomatic interference when dealing with SCP-8526 events.
Note: SCP-8526 is not actively hostile unless provoked or obstructed. Under ideal conditions, it poses minimal direct threat to civilians. However, due to its autonomous intelligence, long-range memory of transgressions, and psychological warfare tendencies, it is classified as Keter until further behavioral predictability or suppression becomes possible.
**SCP-8526-1 — “The Hauler”**
SCP-8526-1 is a matte black 1987 Peterbilt 359 semi-truck, unregistered and devoid of any markings, logos, or license plates. The vehicle is in pristine condition despite apparent decades of operation, showing no signs of wear, rust, or mechanical failure. It produces authentic diesel engine sounds consistent with the make and model, with engine idling, acceleration, and exhaust noises matching a functioning heavy-duty truck.
Physical Attributes:
Exterior paint is flat matte black, absorbing light and reducing reflections.
The truck’s headlights and taillights function normally when unprovoked but exhibit intermittent flickering or shutdown when SCP-8526-1 engages punitive behavior.
Interior features a 1980s-era dashboard and instrumentation, complete with analog gauges and a radio tuned to classic country music frequencies.
The cab emits a faint, low-frequency hum when idling, often reported by witnesses as unsettling or oppressive.
Anomalous Properties:
SCP-8526-1 exhibits autonomous operation without visible driver control.
It obeys local traffic laws and navigational norms unless provoked.
Physical damage caused during aggressive driving is consistent with the mass and speed of a heavy semi-truck.
The vehicle has the ability to send packages to individuals who provoke it, containing remains or emotionally significant objects.
Attempts to forcibly stop or interfere with SCP-8526-1 often result in violent defensive behavior.
SCP-8526-2 — “Henry Burton”
SCP-8526-2 is the humanoid entity occupying the driver’s seat of SCP-8526-1. It manifests as a featureless, opaque black silhouette with no discernible facial features, limbs appearing as rough approximations of a human form. The figure is consistently seen wearing a wide-brimmed cowboy hat, reminiscent of 1980s rural American style.
Physical Appearance:
Height approximately 1.8 meters, proportions similar to an average adult male.
No visible eyes, mouth, or skin texture; the figure is a smooth black void with subtle rippling effects along the edges.
The cowboy hat is the only distinct feature, sometimes shifting or tilting slowly.
Movements are minimal and deliberate, with occasional gestures such as adjusting the hat or turning the head.
Behavioral Characteristics:
SCP-8526-2 is usually silent, exhibiting a calm, stoic presence within the cab.
When interacting with law enforcement or civilians, it provides the alias “Henry Burton,” referencing a deceased truck driver who died in a 1982 rollover accident.
It is generally nonhostile and compliant unless the truck is forcibly stopped, searched, or blocked.
In defense scenarios, SCP-8526-2 will exit the vehicle wielding a standard 1980s double-barrel shotgun and engage perceived threats with lethal force.
The entity appears cognitively anchored in the 1980s, referencing that era in speech and behavior.
It exhibits protective instincts over SCP-8526-1, often stating the truck must be “kept safe” from “state looters” or “road thieves.”
Anomalous Properties:
SCP-8526-2 appears impervious to conventional physical harm; attempts to detain or assault have resulted in no lasting damage.
Communicates in calm, measured tones, sometimes with a faint rural American accent.
Demonstrates knowledge of modern road laws but behaves according to 1980s cultural norms when provoked.
The entity’s presence intensifies the psychological effect of SCP-8526-1’s intimidation tactics.
+ TEST CONDUCTED ON THE SCP
**SCP-8526 Test Log: Provocation by Class-D Driver**

[00:00:32]
Subject attempts to force the door open; door creaks but remains shut.
[00:00:38]
SCP-8526-2's silhouette becomes visible in the window, figure adjusts cowboy hat slowly.
[00:00:45]
SCP-8526-2 speaks with a calm but authoritative voice:
“State your business, trespasser.”
[00:00:50]
D-9384 responds nervously:
“Order from Foundation — you need to let me in for inspection.”
[00:00:55]
SCP-8526-2’s tone hardens:
“This truck don’t take kindly to forced entry. Step back.”
[00:01:05]
D-9384 attempts to open the door again; slight metallic groan heard.
[00:01:10]
SCP-8526-2 suddenly produces a double-barrel shotgun from inside the cab, aims it at the door.
“Last warning. Leave it alone.”
[00:01:15]
Security radios crackle urgently. Agents hold position, weapons trained on truck.
[00:01:20]
D-9384 withdraws hand slowly, steps back with visible shaking.
[00:01:30]
SCP-8526-2 retracts weapon, voice softens:
“Good. Respect the road, and I won’t have to show my teeth.”
**Results:**
SCP-8526-1’s door exhibits anomalous locking mechanisms resisting forced entry.
SCP-8526-2 enforces a clear no-trespassing rule with non-lethal but lethal-threat level intimidation.
Subject D-9384 showed significant fear and compliance upon warning.
**Notes:**
Direct physical entry attempts are met with hostile defensive behavior from SCP-8526-2.
Future tests involving physical intervention should be reconsidered due to risk to personnel.
Recommend remote monitoring and indirect investigation methods.Excerpts of note:

Only Known Image of SCP-8936-1
**Special Containment Procedures:**
**SCP-8936-1 — “Ol’ Justice”**
Vehicle Type: 1983 LAPD Dodge Diplomat
Containment Protocols:
SCP-8936-1 must be parked within a Foundation-controlled motor pool marked to resemble a 1980s LAPD station, complete with signage and era-appropriate fixtures. A reserved, authentic fueling station with leaded gasoline simulant must be provided. SCP-8936-2 will refuel once daily regardless of usage. Surveillance must be covert. Cameras embedded in lampposts or signage are preferred. SCP-8936-1 has been known to disable obvious cameras. The vehicle will only respond to SCP-8936-2’s commands. Should Harland be incapacitated or detained, SCP-8936-1 will initiate violent behavior within 3–5 minutes. Do not attempt to lift, tow, or otherwise restrain the vehicle unless SCP-8936-7 is present and authorized.
**SCP-8936-2 — Sgt. John Harland (Badge #8936)**
Anomalous Human Entity
Containment Protocols:
Harland must be allowed to move freely within designated “Patrol Zones” on Foundation property, constructed to emulate a 1970s Los Angeles district, including storefronts, gas stations, and signage.
Housing quarters must include:
A furnished 1970s-style apartment, Working black-and-white television (tuned to classic channels), 1980s-era wardrobe and equipment, Female staff are to conduct all interviews and patrol briefings. When requested, Harland is to be granted supervised patrol duties (real or simulated) to maintain cooperation. Armed guards must be disguised as 1980s-era LAPD officers. If Harland is forcibly removed or physically harmed, SCP-8936-1 will enter active aggression phases.
**SCP-8936-3**
Type: 1971 Dodge D300 Ambulance
Containment Protocols:
Kept in standby garage near SCP-8936-1 at all times. Only activates if SCP-8936-2 is wounded or requests medical aid. Upon activation, SCP-8936-4 and SCP-8936-5 will manifest inside and provide emergency care to SCP-8936-2 exclusively. Any interference with SCP-8936-3 while active will be met with physical resistance by SCP-8936-4 and SCP-8936-5, who are impervious to small arms fire and refuse to respond to non-Foundation personnel.
**SCP-8936-4 & SCP-8936-5 — Paramedic Duo**
Type: Anomalous Humanoid Entities (non-verbal)
Containment Protocols:
Non-containable individually; only appear when SCP-8936-3 is active. Appear as male Caucasian paramedics in 1980s EMS uniforms. Do not acknowledge Foundation staff. Will stabilize, sedate, or extract SCP-8936-2 as needed, then demanifest.
**SCP-8936-6 — “The Wrecker” Tow Truck**
Type: 1971 GMC 6500 Wrecker
Containment Protocols:
Maintained in secondary garage, visually styled as a 1980s impound lot. Only mobilizes when SCP-8936-2 calls for a tow or when SCP-8936-1 is damaged. Must never be interfered with during recovery operations. Attempts to block or stall its path have resulted in forceful ejections, dragged vehicles, or broken barricades.
**SCP-8936-7 — “DOT”**
Anomalous Human Entity (Driver of SCP-8936-6)
Containment Protocols:
Allowed limited free roam within Foundation motor pool under escort. Known to speak with security personnel and refer to Foundation as “the Fed lot.” Described as humorous, relaxed, and cooperative, but will defend SCP-8936-2 without hesitation. Responds favorably to coffee, cigarettes, and 1970s banter. Use this to de-escalate when necessary.
**SCP-8936-8 — LASD Diplomat Cruiser**
Type: 1983 Dodge Diplomat (Sheriff Dept. Black & White)
Containment Protocols:
Parked near SCP-8936-1, only activates when Harland is involved in jurisdictional conflict or requires backup. Vehicle displays “Diplomat” tags and is immune to all forms of roadside scanner, EMP, or spike strips. Emits calming presence to SCP-8936-1 and will act as a mediator in police-on-police conflict scenarios.
**SCP-8936-9 — “The Sheriff”**
LASD Sheriff Corporal Entity
Containment Protocols:
Only appears when 8936-8 is active. Refers to Harland as “partner” or “Northside hothead.” Takes orders only from SCP-8936-2. Will assist in calming SCP-8936-9 and de-escalating Foundation confrontations, sometimes siding against Foundation personnel he deems "rogue."
**Anomalies Descriptions**
**SCP-8936-1 "Ol' Justice"**: SCP-8936-1 is a 1983 Dodge Diplomat Police Package patrol unit, customized in the style of a Los Angeles Police Department North Hollywood Division vehicle as seen during the early 1980s. It is a black-and-white marked cruiser with call sign “UNIT 8936” stenciled on the roof, both doors, and trunk. The vehicle is in mint condition, despite showing signs of active duty use such as scuffing on the bumper and faded but intact vinyl seating. Its onboard emergency equipment includes:
A working Federal Signal Twinsonic light bar
A functional Motorola Micor radio system (which broadcasts to SCP-8936-2 only)
A loaded Remington 870 shotgun locked in the central cage
An LAPD citation book with tickets anomalously dated from the 1980s (see: SCP-8936-A instances)
SCP-8936-1 exhibits sapient behavior, though it does not communicate directly. Its intelligence is inferred from the following behaviors:
Autonomous Movement: SCP-8936-1 navigates roads unassisted, obeying all traffic laws unless in “Code 3” (emergency lights/siren) situations.
Protective Reaction: If SCP-8936-2 is forcibly removed, injured, or detained, SCP-8936-1 will enter an agitated state. This includes:
Accelerating without driver input
Ramming vehicles or individuals
Performing PIT maneuvers on Foundation convoys
Driving into densely populated civilian areas without regard for public safety
**"Stalking” Behavior**: SCP-8936-1 will idle near Foundation sites, police stations, or gas stations SCP-8936-2 is known to frequent. The vehicle does not appear to teleport but is consistently able to navigate across long distances within hours, even internationally. Though SCP-8936-1 does not speak, SCP-8936-2 frequently refers to it as “Ol’ Justice” and treats it as a trusted partner. It appears loyal, following Harland without deviation unless provoked. When calm, it idles with the engine gently purring and will flash its lights or chirp its siren in greeting when approached respectfully. Law enforcement officers (real or disguised) will be acknowledged by a brief wiggle of the steering wheel and two flashes of the headlights.
When agitated or if SCP-8936-2 is harmed: SCP-8936-1 has demonstrated the ability to exceed modern vehicular speeds, measured up to 240 km/h. It may disable Foundation pursuit vehicles through tactical maneuvering, including techniques only taught to law enforcement officers. Any individual drawing a weapon near SCP-8936-2 will result in SCP-8936-1 revving its engine and slowly approaching the target until the weapon is lowered. The vehicle answers only to SCP-8936-2 (Sgt. John Harland) and will not start, move, or respond to commands from any other individual. Its odometer appears frozen at 008936.2 miles, but its engine performs at full capacity without refueling or maintenance. Despite this, SCP-8936-2 insists on filling the tank regularly with leaded gasoline, paying in 1970s currency (which physically manifests on his person and is non-anomalous once removed).
**SCP-8936-2 "The Sargent"**:
SCP-8936-2 appears as a physically fit Caucasian male in his early 40s, with a clean-cut short hairstyle and thick mustache consistent with LAPD grooming standards from the early 1980s. He wears a dark navy LAPD North Hollywood patrol uniform (winter issue), complete with:
Sergeant chevrons on both sleeves
Authentic 1980s LAPD-issued utility belt
Radio with CB-compatible mic (non-functional, but he uses it regularly)
A gold badge marked 8936
Worn leather boots, polished
Wears aviator sunglasses both indoors and at night
Visible name tag: HARLAND
Gunmetal gray Remington 870 strapped to SCP-8936-1 (his patrol car, “Ol’ Justice”)
Carries a Colt Python .357 Magnum, a Remington 870 shotgun, and an M14 rifle (stored in his vehicle)
He smells faintly of motor oil, leather, and old cigarette smoke. No signs of aging, fatigue, or biological deterioration have been recorded. Medical scans show a fully functioning human male — though some internal organs appear subtly "out-of-time" when compared to contemporary anatomy, as if biologically indexed to 1983.
Demeanor:
Polite, well-spoken, commanding presence
Treats both law enforcement and Foundation personnel with respect, often addressing them by rank or “officer” even when inappropriate
Refers to Foundation staff as “Fed boys” or “internal affairs types”
Has a strong moral code — particularly regarding violence against women, children, or "non-combatants"
Obedient to lawful command, but only if he perceives it as legitimate in his era's structure
Compliant to female Foundation personnel, believing they represent “elevated public decorum”
Knows personal information about civilians he stops (names, birthdates, outstanding warrants, etc.), even when no records exist
Can communicate in any known language — but always speaks English, yet is understood universally
Writes citations with court dates in 1983, which Foundation designates as 8936-A instances
Does not appear to sleep or eat, though he frequently purchases food and gasoline as if he does
Pays with exact change based on 1983 prices — cash is always accepted, even if out of circulation
Weapons Handling and Use-of-Force
SCP-8936-2 will only draw or use weapons under very specific conditions:
When personally threatened with a weapon
When a crime is committed involving violence or “immoral conduct”
When individuals speak degradingly about women or minorities in his presence
When another SCP-8936 instance is forcibly interfered with
He is extremely proficient in the use of firearms. Ballistics tests show near-perfect aim with all three weapons. However, he vastly prefers his baton, which he uses with calculated precision — always to disable, never to kill.
SCP-8936-2 appears psychically tethered to SCP-8936-1, a 1983 Dodge Diplomat. The vehicle:
Will not operate without SCP-8936-2’s consent or proximity
Becomes hostile if SCP-8936-2 is harmed, kidnapped, or separated by force
Has been observed ramming civilians, running red lights, and ripping through barricades to reach SCP-8936-2
Is often seen idling nearby even when not engaged — suggesting a passive loyalty system
Ticketing Behavior:
During traffic stops conducted by SCP-8936-2, tickets (designated SCP-8936-A) are printed or written on carbon paper and dated between 1970 and 1974. These citations include:
Offender name (always correct, even if unknown to Foundation)
Home address (also always correct)
Violation (often listed in obsolete LAPD code)
Court date at a defunct or fictional Los Angeles court (e.g., “Mid-Valley County Traffic Court, Room 4D”)
These tickets do not appear in any legal database but are physically persistent. Offenders often report nightmares about attending court, being late, or encountering harsh 1980s traffic judges. All 8936-A instances are to be confiscated and incinerated, though incineration may require multiple attempts due to anomalous ink resistance.
**SCP-8936-3 "The Responder"**: SCP-8936-3 is a seemingly well-maintained 1970 Ford E-Series ambulance that appears during medical emergencies involving SCP-8936-2 ("John Harland"). It will arrive regardless of distance, time, or known location. The vehicle materializes within ~2 minutes of SCP-8936-2 sustaining injury, whether minor or critical, and will immediately attempt to retrieve and transport him to a non-existent "Memorial General" hospital.
The ambulance appears staffed by two humanoid entities designated SCP-8936-4 and SCP-8936-5 (see below). These paramedics are focused solely on the health and condition of SCP-8936-2 and ignore all other individuals unless they directly obstruct them.
**SCP-8936-4 and SCP-8936-5 "The Medics"**:
Appearance: Both appear as human males in their late 30s, clean-shaven, and dressed in dated EMT uniforms matching 1980 Los Angeles County Emergency Services. SCP-8936-4 is Caucasian, wears a name tag reading “D. Matthews.” SCP-8936-5 is Hispanic, wears a name tag reading “J. Ramirez.” Will ignore all individuals except SCP-8936-2, even if shouted at, physically blocked, or injured. Will gently but forcefully remove anyone trying to stop them from accessing SCP-8936-2. Will bandage, inject, or otherwise stabilize Harland using unknown or expired medical equipment, with success rates far exceeding modern standards. Following treatment, they will load him into SCP-8936-3 and disappear without explanation or destination, typically rematerializing nearby within 1–2 hours. SCP-8936-3 does not appear unless SCP-8936-2 is injured or calls out for medical backup via police radio (even if no physical radio is present). It has appeared inside locked facilities, restricted airspace, and in one case, a Foundation sublevel elevator shaft — always with its sirens audible ~15 seconds before visual contact. The vehicle does not respond to normal stimuli, traffic, barricades, or personnel commands. It drives autonomously and always maintains enough clearance to avoid civilian harm — unless someone attempts to block access to SCP-8936-2.
ANOMALOUS PROPERTIES:
All tools and medication inside SCP-8936-3 are labeled in 1980s pharmaceutical branding, many of which have not existed for decades.
The interior is clean, stocked, and free of decay, despite clear evidence of age.
The hospital they claim to transport Harland to, “Memorial General,” does not exist in any current or historical registry in Los Angeles County.
Attempts to track or follow SCP-8936-3 have resulted in it vanishing from GPS, visual, and radar surveillance upon turning a corner or leaving line of sight.
“Whatever they use to stabilize Sergeant Harland puts our trauma kits to shame. I watched them inject something from a cracked vial labeled ‘Metacillin’ and a compound I can’t even pronounce. He was up and walking like nothing happened in five minutes.”
— Dr. Amelia Rosse, Medical Division
**SCP-8936-6 "The Wrecker"**: SCP-8936-6 is an anomalous 1971 heavy-duty tow truck that appears during traffic stops, vehicle accidents, or roadside investigations involving SCP-8936-2 (Sergeant John Harland). It is consistently operated by SCP-8936-7, an entity resembling a 1970s-era civilian tow operator. SCP-8936-6 is fully functional and capable of towing any modern or historical vehicle, regardless of weight class, damage, or physical obstruction. It operates with strength and maneuverability well beyond non-anomalous tow trucks of its era. Selective Physicality: SCP-8936-6 can pass through tight alleyways, dense traffic, and narrow barriers as if space warps around it. Vehicles or objects it needs to move will shift or distort slightly without visible force. Towing Ability: Capable of towing multiple vehicles simultaneously, including Foundation armored transports (see Incident Log 8936-6-Beta). Resistance to Damage: Attempts to disable, block, or immobilize SCP-8936-6 have failed. It ignores spike strips, roadblocks, and vehicle ramming attempts. Disengagement Protocol: After successfully towing a vehicle assigned by 8936-2, it will vanish once out of line of sight, typically with a wave from SCP-8936-7.
**SCP-8936-7 "DOT"**: Caucasian male, mid-40s Greasy trucker cap, denim jacket with torn sleeves, yellowed undershirt Smokes non-branded cigarettes labeled “Union Reds” Speech includes 1980s trucker lingo and law enforcement slang. Shows basic courtesy to Foundation personnel, often joking or offering unsolicited advice. Ignores any person not directly involved with SCP-8936-2 or the vehicle to be towed. Refers to the SCP Foundation as "That new federal outfit Harland don't care for much" SCP-8936-6 cannot be contained separately from SCP-8936-2. It only appears when summoned, and dematerializes after its tasks are completed. All attempts to track or tag the vehicle have resulted in signal loss or GPS scrubbing. SCP-8936-7 is not hostile, but will not tolerate interference. When approached aggressively, he simply states: “Touch my rig again and you're walkin' home. In pieces.”
**SCP-8936-8 "Ol' Reliable"**: A 1983 Dodge Diplomat patrol unit in the livery and configuration of a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) black-and-white cruiser. The vehicle is in pristine condition despite its age, showing no signs of rust, mechanical degradation, or fuel exhaustion. All equipment onboard is consistent with LASD-standard cruisers circa 1983, including a working Federal Signal TwinSonic lightbar, UHF police radio, dash-mounted clipboard, and an in-dash shotgun rack.
The vehicle bears the LASD shield on both front doors, faded but intact, and the callsign “CO-89” hand-lettered in white on the trunk lid and roof panel. The interior includes a period-correct Motorola mic unit that occasionally emits radio chatter.
SCP-8936-8 Notes:
SCP-8936-8 is capable of autonomous navigation, though it does not typically move without its operator, SCP-8936-9, inside.
The vehicle can manifest and demanifest from secure Foundation sites without triggering alarms, surveillance, or checkpoints. This behavior has been noted even in heavily monitored environments such as Site-██.
When in operation, SCP-8936-8 emits a persistent aura of "official presence," resulting in nearby individuals showing increased compliance, standing straighter, and becoming more cooperative in tone and speech—even if they are unaware of the vehicle’s presence.
SCP-8936-8 is immune to damage. Testing with blunt force, cutting tools, and even small arms fire have left no marks or deformation on the vehicle’s frame or glass. Attempts to open the trunk without SCP-8936-9’s approval have universally failed, regardless of method or force.
When idling, it plays soft AM radio music consistent with 1980s stations, including broadcasts that seem to be from fictional talk radio hosts and “in-universe” news stations discussing law enforcement operations not recorded in public history.
SCP-8936-8’s engine is silent when parked, though faint typewriter-like clacking can sometimes be heard emanating from the trunk or dashboard.
**SCP-8936-9 "The Sheriff"**: SCP-8936-9 appears as a Caucasian male in his mid-50s with short, slicked-back gray hair and a full mustache typical of 1980s law enforcement officers. He wears an immaculately pressed Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department uniform in the style of 1983, complete with: Corporal chevrons on both sleeves, Duty belt with:
Smith & Wesson Model 19 revolver
Handcuffs
Baton
Leather-bound citation book
Shoulder-mounted LAPD-era radio mic connected to a long-defunct CB system
A LASD brass badge bearing his rank and designation: “Cpl. J. Tyrell – 8936-9”
Wears a campaign hat with a gold cord and Sheriff’s star pin
Uniform never appears dirty or damaged, regardless of environmental conditions. Body and clothing show no signs of age degradation or organic wear.
SCP-8936-9 speaks in a calm, composed, and professional tone. His mannerisms are deliberate and confident, projecting the presence of a law enforcement officer who is used to both the chain of command and political maneuvering.
Consistently refers to the Foundation as “federal internal affairs” or “Washington compliance officers”
Addresses SCP-8936-2 as “Sarge” or “John,” showing familiarity and equal respect
Tends to reference laws and standards from pre-1983 California penal code
Has been heard quoting the LASD Code of Conduct and “Governor’s legal mandates” that do not appear in any known state record.
Legal Recognition Phenomenon:
Any individual within SCP-8936-9’s presence, even from countries unfamiliar with American law enforcement, will regard him as legitimately authoritative and jurisdictionally appropriate, as if he outranks even local law enforcement.
Temporal Anchoring:
Behaves and speaks as though it is currently the year 1983.
Refers to modern political or technological developments as “classified” or “unofficial rumors.”
Appears unaware that Nixon is no longer President.
Like SCP-8936-2, he can understand and be understood in all languages, even if legal references are being used. SCP-8936-9’s legal references are comprehensible even when spoken in outdated jargon.
Diplomatic Immunity Effect:
Foundation agents attempting to restrain or remove him report overwhelming sensations of guilt, reluctance, or legal confusion.
Documents he produces (often hand-typed or handwritten) are inexplicably accepted as valid warrants, citations, or agreements, despite lacking legal origin.
OBSERVED BEHAVIOR DURING INCIDENTS
Will appear at scenes involving jurisdictional conflict (e.g., Foundation vs. local police)
Has successfully prevented 8936-2 from engaging violently with Foundation agents on at least 5 documented occasions
Has once threatened a Foundation staff member with “deputizing local officers against you” — despite no actual legal process taking place, local police on-site began siding with him until SCP-8936-2 intervenedExcerpts of note:
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-8936-1 — “Ol’ Justice”
Vehicle Type: 1983 LAPD Dodge Diplomat
Containment Protocols:
SCP-8936-1 must be parked within a Foundation-controlled motor pool marked to resemble a 1980s LAPD station, complete with signage and era-appropriate fixtures. A reserved, authentic fueling station with leaded gasoline simulant must be provided.

Hello I got by TheHauler I plan to write a couple SCP's that I've been working on and revising for the past week or so and wanted to get on the wiki to hopefully make them official. I have spent around 8 years or so in the SCP Fandom and it is an amazing community full of amazing people.
I really wanted to do this because I enjoy writing stories about things and this gives me a chance to do that and see what people think of it. Writing is something that gets me away from reality and lets me make a story of my own. It's more of a way for me to relax and unwind after a long busy day.
There are many things in this world a believe in whether it be aliens or ghost (I've Experienced Ghost and Aliens) but from my point of view you should believe what you believe in. For me my experiences with things normally influence my writing style of stuff. To me everyone is entitled to their own opinions on stuff like how they write their stories and what they choose to believe in.
Sincerely
TheHauler
