**Item #:** SCP-8274
**Object Class:** Euclid
**Special Containment Procedures:** SCP-8274 is contained within a reinforced enclosure at Site-██, measuring at least 100 meters in diameter and 20 meters in height. The enclosure is to resemble a natural forest environment and is constructed from reinforced concrete and covered with a layer of soundproofing material. Personnel must maintain a safe distance of 10 meters from SCP-8274 at all times to lessen its effects.
SCP-8274 is to be fed with a minimum of four (4) live, wild animals daily. Acceptable food sources include, but are not limited to, small mammals, such as rodents, rabbits and birds. Feeding occurs inside the enclosure; animals are to be released into the enclosure, allowing SCP-8274 to hunt. The enclosure is to be checked twice daily at 08:00 and 20:00 for any signs of damage or breach attempts.
Cleaning staff may enter the enclosure only between ██:██ and ██:██, and only after receiving Level 2 clearance and undergoing a mandatory psychological evaluation. No other access to the enclosure is permitted. All remote observation and photography of SCP-8274 are strictly forbidden. Any footage resulting from a violation of this order is to be archived for use in training the cleaning and monitoring staff of SCP-8274.
In case of a containment breach: The entire sector must be evacuated and all footage from SCP-8274 must be deleted or heavily censored. The area SCP-8274 occupies must be locked down and a retrieval team will be sent in, armed with heavy tranquilizer rifles to try and catch SCP-8274. Retrieval team Agents must be specially selected for high reflexes, excellent marksmanship, unquestioning obedience, and low empathy scores.
**Description:** : SCP-8274 is a biomorphic entity capable of existing in two distinct forms. SCP-8274-A is a hybrid creature, approximately 1.37 meters in height and weighing approximately 27.2 kilograms. It exhibits both human and feline (Felis catus; queen female) characteristics. SCP-8274-A possesses a black and white tabby fur pattern, large black ears, and a black tail with a white tip. SCP-8274-A primarily communicates through vocalizations resembling meows, but has demonstrated comprehension of the English language. SCP-8274-A is capable of transforming into SCP-8274-B.
SCP-8274-B appears to be a smaller feline entity (Felis catus; adult female), sharing the same fur pattern and coloration as SCP-8274-A. The transformation between SCP-8274-A and SCP-8274-B is currently unobserved, and the triggers for this transformation are unknown. SCP-8274-B has been observed to display typical feline behaviors, such as grooming, playing, and sleeping. Further research is required to fully understand the nature of SCP-8274's behavioral patterns.
SCP-8274's true nature has been confirmed through analysis of its weight, height, water displacement, and dental molds created from bite marks and claw scratches. Proximity to SCP-8274-B (within 10 meters) induces uncontrollable anger and confusion, making the person affected by the phenomenon to attack anyone within a 50-meter radius. These effects dissipate within 24 hours of initial exposure of SCP-8274-B. Any individuals who have been within 10 meters of SCP-8274-B and exhibit any phenomena of SCP-8273-B must be immediately quarantined for a duration of 4 days and will only be released after a full physical examination has been conducted.
Typically, SCP-8274-B will begin to purr or mew when approached by a humans. This often elicits a positive response, leading individuals to attempt to pet the subject (this has been observed even in persons who strongly dislike cats).SCP-8274-B has been known to either accept or reject any affection from its victims. From them who SCP-8274-B has accepted the affection, after staying more than 20 minutes with SCP-8274-B, it has been observed to attack or kill the victim before devouring them.
SCP-8274-A's behavior towards humans is significantly different. SCP-8274-A generally ignores humans, exhibiting no interest or aggression. SCP-8274-A has been observed to move away or ignore subjects attempting to interact with them but has not shown any signs of aggression. Further observation is required to fully understand the conditions that trigger the aggressive behavior of SCP-8274-B and the non-aggressive behavior of SCP-8274-A.
**Addendum:**All further experiments require O5 level approval.
**Experiment Log8274a-1**
Date: ██/██/2025
**Test Subject:** Class-D personnel.
**Control Test A:** Subject was placed in the same enclosure with SCP-8274-A.
**Results:** SCP-8274-A remained within 20 meters of the subject, lying next to a tree in the enclosure and leaving the subject alone.
**Control Test B:** Another subject was placed in the same enclosure with SCP-8274-B.
**Results:** SCP-8274-B waited for approximately 30 minutes, before slowly crouching closer to the subject, eventually sitting down approximately 2 meters away and letting out soft, curious mews. After approximately 10 minutes of exposure to SCP-8274-B, the subject began to show signs of anger and confusion, before attempted to attack SCP-8274-B, resulting in a fight where SCP-8274-B killed the subject, then played with the subject's body before devouring it.
**Notes:** //: SCP-8274-A seems to leave the subject alone during the testing, while SCP-8274-B appeared curious about test subject, before attacking and devouring them after playing with their body. It is unclear if SCP-8274-A would behave differently if hungry or if this behavior is due to boredom. Further testing is recommended for a better understanding.// - Researcher E█████.

Of note, the user has a concept critique thread that does not follow the template: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-17168785/idea-needing-greenlit-for-my-scp
SCP-XXX-B appears to be a smaller feline entity (Felis catus; adult female), sharing the same fur pattern and coloration as SCP-XXXX-A. The transformation between SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B is currently unobserved, and the triggers for this transformation are unknown. SCP-XXXX-B has been observed to display typical feline behaviors, such as grooming, playing, and sleeping.
