SCP-8952 cannot be contained through conventional means. However, in accordance with Autonomy Protocol E-8 (approved unanimously by the O5 Council), SCP-8952 has agreed to allow passive observation and minimal territorial interference in exchange for non-aggression from the Foundation.
SCP-8952 resides within a highly forested and geographically unstable region of [REDACTED] National Park, inside a structure designated Site-8952-α. This structure, a large mansion-sized cabin of unknown architectural origin, is not visible from any external approach. The area exhibits a perceptual redirection field, making all attempts at GPS tracking, satellite imaging, and unmanned exploration return negative or inconclusive results.
The exclusion zone (radius: 10 km) surrounding Site-8952-α is maintained through the following:
* 16 Foundation-linked high-altitude surveillance satellites with thaumaturgic lenses.
* 24 autonomous aerial drones equipped with memetic shielding.

This protocol activates automatically should SCP-8952 demonstrate hostile intent against human populations or if it refuses communication and isolation for longer than 12 consecutive hours without explanation.
**Stage I — Immediate Response:**
All Foundation Sites within a 1,000 km radius receive Priority Alert Omega.
Foundation MTFs equipped with heavy deterrence loadouts deploy to surface-level positions. These are not intended to engage, but to delay SCP-8952 through visible resistance while evacuations are underway.

**Description:**
SCP-8952 is a humanoid entity approximately 2.6 meters in height, possessing a highly muscular build and exhibiting a cervine skeletal head in place of a human one. This head resembles the skull of an adult male deer (Cervus elaphus), complete with a branching set of antlers approximately 0.8 meters in span. Despite the lack of ocular tissue, two dim, bioluminescent points of light are visible within the eye sockets at all times. Despite its skeletal face, SCP-8952 is capable of articulate speech and vocalizations in over 60 human languages, including several that are extinct or unrecorded.
SCP-8952 frequently changes its attire, which ranges from mundane to ceremonial to outright absurd (e.g., full clown regalia, medieval armor, etc.). The origin of these outfits is unknown.
SCP-8952 exhibits a range of anomalous capabilities, several of which are considered high-risk due to their scope and potential metaphysical implications.
A primary anomalous feature is its ability to split its skull along the sagittal line, revealing a void of undetermined depth. From this void, SCP-8952 can extend a prehensile tongue-like appendage exceeding 2 meters in length. This appendage is used to grasp, retrieve, or envelop targets and has been linked to multiple spatial disappearance events.
SCP-8952 is capable of relocating instantaneously across arbitrary distances. The mechanism does not appear to adhere to any known spatiotemporal principles and is not preceded by any detectable buildup of energy or spatial distortion.
SCP-8952 demonstrates extensive and precise knowledge across a wide range of scientific, historical, metaphysical, and obscure academic disciplines, including areas with limited or classified human understanding. The means by which this knowledge was acquired remains unknown.
SCP-8952 possesses dermal and subdermal structures that render it virtually impervious to physical trauma. Attempts at penetrating its tissue via ballistics, incineration, cryogenic exposure, acidic corrosion, and high-velocity impact have all failed to produce lasting damage.
Despite the lack of visible musculature abnormalities beyond baseline hypertrophy, SCP-8952 has exhibited lifting capabilities and kinetic output exceeding 80,000 N, far beyond human capacity.
SCP-8952 is capable of spontaneously altering local and, potentially, global reality constructs.
Documented effects include the transmutation of matter, spontaneous generation of non-existent historical events (which subsequently manifest in the historical record), alteration of perceived truth values (i.e., rendering objectively false statements factually "true"), and spontaneous rewriting of physical laws within a defined area. The extent of these abilities is currently unbounded.
Due to the scope and ambiguity of its anomalous capabilities, SCP-8952 is to be considered an ontological threat entity until further notice. Level 5 oversight has been requested.
Despite its overwhelming capabilities, SCP-8952 has not demonstrated persistent hostility and is generally calm and conversational, particularly with personnel it favors.

**Site-8952-α Interior Overview:**
# **Grand Hall :** Central room with a 6-meter ceiling, containing a fireplace, reading lounges, and paintings of indeterminate origin (several of which shift depending on the observer).
# **Kitchen and Dining Area :** Fully stocked with food items, automated cooking systems, and a 20-seat banquet table. Despite the remote location, all food items remain fresh.
# **Multiple Bedrooms (12 in total) :** Each uniquely decorated, several themed in styles from varying historical periods (Victorian, Ottoman, Futuristic, etc.). One room is composed entirely of black velvet and is always locked.
# **Library :** Contains an estimated 300,000 volumes, many of which are not listed in any known catalog. Subjects range from theology and metaphysics to advanced quantum engineering and pre-human history.
# **Medical Wing :** Fully functional surgical and diagnostic suites with equipment of both conventional and anomalous nature. Capable of sustaining long-term intensive care.
# **Fabrication and Engeneering Bay :** Contains automated manufacturing systems capable of producing complex devices, including drones, tools, prosthetics, and small arms. Several machines appear self-replicating.
# **Observation Theater :** Features dozens of screens linked to unknown data sources. Some appear to monitor Earth in real time, others show celestial bodies, and at least two display what appears to be alternate versions of known Foundation facilities.
# **Music Room :** Contains classical instruments, audio-reactive surfaces, and a grand piano which plays autonomously when SCP-8952 enters.
# **Art Studio :** Constantly replenished with canvases, inks, paints, and sculpting material. Several statues of unknown individuals are present.
# **Botanical Atrium :** Indoor forest of flora not native to Earth. Atmospheric composition in this room deviates significantly from baseline Earth air.
# **Aquatic Chamber :** Large indoor lake with bioluminescent fauna. Water source and depth remain untraceable.
# **Game Lounge :** Features modern and ancient gaming equipment, including arcade cabinets, go boards, VR rigs, and a large chess table with unorthodox pieces.
# **Meditation Hall :** Simple empty space with stone flooring and a circular skylight. Air pressure and gravity are reduced while inside.
**Addendum 8952-01:** Transcript of an interview with Scp-8952
Scp-8952 requested an interview because he was "a bit lonely".

**Addendum 8952-02:**
At 03:11 local time, multiple surveillance points along the northern and eastern perimeter of Site-8952-α began reporting system-wide signal loss and perimeter breach activity. Thermal signatures consistent with an organized infiltration team (size estimated: 8–12 hostiles) were detected approaching from blind spots previously thought inaccessible due to natural terrain interference. Initial analysis suggests deployment of low-visibility exo-gear and null-field dampeners.
Foundation Response Teams B-3 and H-6 were dispatched. Before engagement could occur, all on-site personnel (including those in interior monitoring posts) reported sudden topological disorientation and visual anomalies in the surrounding forest. the forest terrain became non-navigable: trees grew rapidly in height and density, forming a labyrinthine landscape.

At 03:14, Foundation systems experienced a complete blackout within a 15 km radius. Communications recovered at 03:48, with aerial surveillance unable to relocate the mansion structure, forest clearing, or the designated perimeter.
Witnesses reported SCP-8952 appearing in a transformed state: limbs elongated, antlers expanded to form crown-like arches, and its face split open to reveal a pulsing void. In this form, SCP-8952 hunted down intruders, extending its void-tongue to seize them mid-sprint. No gunfire was effective.
SCP-8952 did not respond to communication during this event. After 48 minutes, the forest and terrain reverted to baseline. SCP-8952 was later observed seated calmly in the atrium, carving a flute from bone. Recovered footage (fragmented and partially corrupted) shows at least seven Chaos Insurgency operatives being seized by SCP-8952 within a span of 180 seconds. No bodies were recovered. Surveillance systems self-repaired over the next three hours without intervention.
**Addendum 8952-03:**
SCP-8952 has not expressed remorse or agitation following the event. All requests for clarification about the “void” or the altered forest topology have been met with either silence or non-sequitur responses. O5 Review has concluded that SCP-8952 is to be classified as a Level 5 Threat Entity in the event of future ideological conflict.

A rougue operative infiltrated Site-8952-α and shot Dr. Bell in the upper chest. Immediately following the attack, the operative vanished without spatial or temporal signature.
Six hours later, the individual reappeared in an unused medical suite. The operative was unresponsive for several minutes before violently awakening and screaming. Transcript of his debrief follows:
