SCP-8159 – "The Reverse Doctor"
Object Class: Keter
Containment Protocol:
SCP-8159 is to be contained in a 3 x 3 x 3 meter copper cube. The copper box is required because SCP-8159 has antimicrobial properties that render any organic and inorganic matter it touches very infectious. Any breach of containment could result in widespread contamination of the facility and personnel.
All personnel who come into contact with SCP-8159 are to be given with copper gloves and copper-lined full body armor to restrict exposure. Additionally, testing equipment is to be copper-based, as SCP-8159's resistant qualities render non-copper devices useless and dangerous.
If there is any direct contact with SCP-8159, the affected object or human should be immediately burned at the closest incineration plant. There will be exactly zero exceptions to this rule as the contamination will spread rapidly.
SCP-8159's containment cell is to be monitored at all times by remote camera and sound sensors, since SCP-8159 is extremely volatile and can inflict serious damage with a single security measure badly done. Staff are to avoid from any conversation or contact with SCP-8159.
Description:
SCP-8159 is a humanoid presence, approximately 1.8 meters in height, that manifests as a reportedly mummified figure wearing clothing traced to ancient Mesopotamian royalty. The presence's face is hidden behind a ripped surgical mask, though it is hypothesized that its own facial structure is hugely disfigured underneath. SCP-8159's hands, when exposed, are deformed and comprise multiple layers of infected tissue, appearing to be a grotesque combination of decaying human and microbial material.
SCP-8159 seems to speak like a human. While in its containment cell, we picked up on very silent muttering resembling the following languages: French, Spanish, Greek, Old English, and Italian. Records seem to indicate SCP-8159 has traveled across several European countries.
What makes SCP-8159 so dangerous is that it has the ability to infect anything it touches. When it touches a surface or a living organism, SCP-8159 transmits a complex mix of diseases, bacteria, and viruses, the majority of which are still yet to be brought to the attention of WHO (World Health Organization). These viruses are hostile and cannot be destroyed by typical methods. The infection that takes root does not simply destroy the host but rots the body slowly, turning it into a humanoid, disease-ridden puppet of SCP-8159's command.
After the infection has taken full hold, the infected individual will have lost all traces of independent awareness as well as their motor function and muscle movement and is now nothing more than a host of SCP-8159's infection. Such hosts are commonly placed into mass graves by SCP-8159, however the infected still have a stable heartbeat as well as breathing pattern. SCP-8159 has a general motivation but displays fierce aggression if its "patients" or "implements" are in danger.
Additional Effects:
Vigorous Mutation: SCP-8159's exposure results in any organism that becomes infected to mutate in a faster manner. In some cases, the afflicted persons have been known to quickly physically mutate with no known relation to any established disease or condition.
Antimicrobial Resistance: SCP-8159's blend of bacteria and viruses is also resistant to every known antimicrobial, rendering antibiotics, antivirals, and most conventional treatments utterly ineffective. The infected hosts cannot be treated with medical interventions.
Cognitive Decline: Cognitive decline is the first symptom of infection, with progressive loss of all motor functions. The infected host becomes a mindless automaton under the control of SCP-8159 with no signs of self-activity.
Autonomous Reanimation: In very few cases, the host-infected bodies reanimate upon death, even though the revived hosts are not "alive" in any conventional sense. They appear like puppets, acting at the behest of SCP-8159 and using its residual diseases to infect the environment further. These are to be known as SCP-8159-1.
Addendum 8159-01: Incident Log – The "Doctor's First Touch"
Date: ██/██/20██
SCP-8159 was first discovered during the investigation of an abandoned hospital in ████, ████. The hospital had been abandoned for years because of an unknown disease that eliminated the human population in the region. SCP-8159 was found in the basement, in what appeared to be a makeshift operation room with outdated medical equipment and some garbage.
During initial contact, scientists were instructed to proceed with caution, but once a scientist, Dr. ████, accidentally touched the infected hand of SCP-8159, the infection spread immediately, causing immediate decline in health. The disease mutated in an instant in the body of Dr. ████, causing mutations to his physical form and loss of mental abilities. Dr. ████ was later used by SCP-8159 to infect additional staff.
By the time containment staff arrived at the location, the hospital was fully infested, and over 50% of the staff had been infected or eliminated by the agents of SCP-8159.
Addendum 8159-02: Possibility of rivalry with SCP-049 – "The Plague Doctor"
SCP-8159 might have crossed with SCP-049, The Plague Doctor, during its movement. We have no evidence that SCP-8159 has been in contact with SCP-049, but on many occasions, the two of them have both appeared at the same location at the same time.
Research teams with whom SCP-8159 and SCP-049 have crossed paths separately report that there could be some kind of competition between the two. SCP-8159 seems to view SCP-049's approach, his attempts to "cure" individuals with his procedures as inefficient and ineffective, in contrast to its own contagion-based approach.
Testimonies from different breaches of containment describe that SCP-8159 has an active contempt for SCP-049, consistently trying to hinder or infect the environment where SCP-049 is operating. SCP-049 has been observed to respond with violent outbursts when confronted with SCP-8159's influence, with clear signs of hostility towards the entity, likely due to its destructive effect on SCP-049's "cures."
This dynamic signifies both players have similar aspirations like the control over life and death, but their methods are polar opposites to each other, thus they are adversaries in the pursuit of domination over death. Neither SCP has any reported cases of causing one-on-one combat, but the competition for the control of life and death appears to ignite an intense hatred.
Current Status:
SCP-8159 is contained in Site-██. Although its exact origin remains unknown, the general hypothesis that SCP-8159 has some link to human experiments performed in the context of an obscure medical epidemic seems quite accurate. That it understands medical practices and can reverse standard infection procedures means SCP-8159 was at some point in the past some type of "reverse doctor" who could utilize illnesses not for healing but for control, corrupting, and consuming.
It is uncertain whether SCP-8159 is a living organism or merely a biological anomaly. Further study on SCP-8159's method of control over infected individuals continues, though containment routines continue to be effective to date.
Final Notes:
The principal concern with SCP-8159 is its very infectious nature, posing a danger not only to the containment facility but to the well-being of humanity. It is imperative that every person working on the premises who is exposed to SCP-8159 is neutrally eliminated simultaneously and the corpse cremated in order to prevent the widespread spread of its lethal and deranged illness.
Revision 0:
SCP-10593– "The Reverse Doctor"
Object Class: Keter
Containment Protocol:
SCP-0000 is to be contained in a 3 x 3 x 3 meter copper cube made entirely of copper. The copper box is required because SCP-10593 has antimicrobial properties that render any organic and inorganic matter it touches very infectious. Any breach of containment could result in widespread contamination of the facility and personnel.
All personnel who come into contact with SCP-10593 are to be given with copper gloves and copper-lined full-body armor to restrict exposure. Additionally, testing equipment is to be copper-based, as SCP-10593's resistant qualities render non-copper devices useless and dangerous.

Staff are to refrain from any conversation or contact with SCP-10593, particularly during its more aggressive periods, since SCP-10593 has been noted to provoke violent outbursts towards individuals who approach too close.

Hello author, this is a good general idea but i do have some critique to give. First of all explain the containment procedures more thoroughly how exactly hasn't it escaped because of these procedures. Second in the interview the dialogue could be improved i wish i could go into further detail but i can't find the right wprds to describe it hopefully someone else can.
http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-8223/comments/show#post-7023581 post title "Take some time to better learn the format"
Hey author, according to my recent post i can't talk too much apparently. But you have a good general concept here, however the format is all wrong the whole thing was practically one giant SCP experience podcast which is where I assume you got your idea of how articles are written. I recommend you take this down read a few more succesfull authors and rewrite this with the opinion of some friends.
