**Item #:** SCP-XXXX "The Bandaged Man"
**Object Class:** Euclid (indicate which class)
**Special Containment Procedures:**
SCP-XXXX is currently held in a furnished humanoid containment chamber at Site-ZZ. As SCP-XXXX is not physically confined by Foundation measures and may leave at will, containment is dependent on the subject's cooperation. Surveillance equipment within the chamber has proven ineffective at documenting the subject's entrances or exits. No fewer than two (2) researchers with Level 3 clearance or higher must be assigned to monitor all appearances and interactions.
Personnel are not to introduce fire, open flame, or fire-related discussion in SCP-XXXX's presence. Requests to remove SCP-XXXX's bandages, or inquiries related to their origin, are strictly prohibited unless approved by Site Director [REDACTED].
SCP-XXXX has occasionally appeared unprompted outside containment. Should this occur, personnel are advised not to engage unless the subject initiates contact. Subject has demonstrated willingness to relocate misplaced items or assist with minor facility anomalies, but refuses direct orders or participation in SCP cross-testing.
**Description:**
SCP-XXXX is a humanoid entity entirely wrapped in self-repairing linen bandages. No skin, facial features, or identifying biological traits are visible. SCP-XXXX typically manifests wearing either a black fedora and brown trench coat, or, less frequently, a bowler hat and leather jacket. The subject's physical build and posture suggest a male figure, though SCP-XXXX has also appeared as a female-presenting form when interacting with distressed civilians or Foundation personnel.
The subject is fluent in multiple languages and speaks with a shifting accent most frequently described as a mix of Russian and German. SCP-XXXX is extremely polite, cooperative in conversation, and responsive to most questions. However, it frequently deflects inquiries about its origin, age, or the nature of its bandages. When asked directly, it may respond with dismissive humor or vague metaphysical statements (e.g., "I’m from a place you wouldn’t recognize anyway").
SCP-XXXX demonstrates multiple anomalous traits:
Apparent reality-bending capabilities, primarily involving sudden appearances and disappearances, always unseen.
Ability to phase through solid matter (e.g., walls), often leaving behind one or two loose bandages that disappear minutes later. No sign of damage to its wrappings upon reappearance.
Enhanced strength, capable of lifting heavy equipment with ease.
Near-omniscient awareness of immediate human suffering: SCP-XXXX has consistently appeared near civilians or personnel in need, always alone, and with items required to assist (e.g., food, cash, first aid). The origin of these items remains unknown.
Disappearance is consistently followed by a lingering smell of campfire smoke, even in sealed environments.
SCP-XXXX has shown discomfort and emotional withdrawal when exposed to fire or open flames, even on screens or in conversation. On multiple occasions, mention of fire has preceded immediate disappearance. Psychological profiling suggests past trauma linked to fire-related injury, though no confirmation exists.
Foundation archives contain credible historical references to a "bandaged ghost" or "smoke-wrapped man" intervening in crimes or disasters across Europe since at least the late 18th century. Earliest confirmed case involves an 18-- police report from Prussia describing a "burn-wrapped figure" beating an attempted robber unconscious and disappearing into an alley.
SCP-XXXX does not appear to age and has not changed in physical presentation across recorded appearances.
**Addendum:**
Addendum XXXX.1: Interview Log Excerpt
Interviewer: Dr. Halloran
Interviewed: SCP-XXXX
Dr. Halloran: Let's try this again. Name?
SCP-XXXX: I’ve had many. None that would help you sleep better.
Dr. Halloran: Country of origin?
SCP-XXXX: Somewhere quiet. Gone now.
Dr. Halloran: And the bandages?
SCP-XXXX: Privacy. Or protection. Not sure anymore.
Dr. Halloran: Are they part of you?
SCP-XXXX: Not until they had to be.
Addendum XXXX.2: Bandage Repair Test
On --/--/20--, Researcher Voss marked one of SCP-XXXX's loose bandages (shed while passing through a sealed steel door) with black permanent ink. The bandage was then cut and lightly burned in a sealed container. SCP-XXXX expressed visible agitation during the procedure and disappeared for approximately 11 days.
Upon reappearance, the marked bandage was intact and visibly repaired, though the ink signature had faded. No signs of duplication were found. Testing is ongoing.
Addendum XXXX.3: Female Manifestation
On -/-/20--, SCP-XXXX appeared inside its containment cell in a physically feminine form, with altered voice and body language. Subject offered no explanation other than: "Some people need a different face." Subject's abilities, behavior, and mannerisms remained unchanged.
Note: SCP-XXXX remains non-hostile and cooperative within personal boundaries. Its refusal to fully cooperate with containment and testing protocols, combined with its unknown origin and potentially global reach, necessitates continued monitoring.

**Item #:** SCP-6824
**Object Class:** Safe
**Special Containment Procedures:** No containment procedures have worked thus far, no special containment procedures have been enacted
**Description:** SCP-1205 is a man covered in bandages with no holes for eyes, a mouth, or ears. They wear a black fedora and overcoat and speak in a thick Russian-German accent mixture. They introduce themselves simply as Charles. They appear to be able to speak a combination of German and Russian in some unknown dialect and can also speak English. They appear to be able to teleport, or simply not exist at will. They have been brought to several SCP sites in Europe, have spoken with several scientists, only to vanish, and appear somewhere else in the world. The time between vanishing and reappearing appears to be whatever they choose, it can be instantaneous or take up to an undetermined amount of time, but so far the longest SCP-1205 has not existed was 3 years and 2 months. Any and all attempts at cross tests with other SCP's have been fruitless, as SCP-1205 has chosen to simply not exist, whenever another SCP has been brought into their room, apart from SCP's that work for the foundation, such as SCP-999 and Dr. Bright. SCP-1205 has said they are immune to damage, and after several tests, it appears as though whenever SCP-1205 gets damaged, the bandages repair themselves very quickly. SCP-1205 has been around for an undetermined amount of time, but has claimed to be thousands of years old. The only weapon proven to harm SCP-1205 was fire. In all other tests, any form of weaponry used against SCP-1205 appeared to not affect him, however when lit on fire, SCP-1205 starts screaming and rolling on the ground to put it out. After every test with fire, SCP-1205 promptly stops existing, not wanting to be with the scientists until further notice. The fire appears to make SCP-1205 feel pain but not do more damage than any other weaponry, the bandages just repair once the fire is out. So far no containment attempts have been successful at keeping SCP-1205 in a facility, as it has been able to just stop existing every time. All anomalous attempts to keep him in a cell have failed. He has been compliant and spoken with our scientists about his life and his powers, not knowing what happened and apparently waking up one day and being as he is. After interviews or even during some, he has chosen to simply stop existing again and leave. He has stated, however, that he is a pacifist and doesn't hurt anything. So far, even though he has escaped containment several times, he hasn't caused any type of damage to foundation staff or property and thus has been considered a safe class anomaly.
