Noting that the following two users submitted applications very close to each other:

orcafan15, account creation 11 May 2025, 06:24 (17 hours ago)

volvofan90, account creation 11 May 2025, 06:20 (17 hours ago)

Both applications were declined. As the SCP wiki does not allow one user to have multiple accounts with site membership, both accounts were PMed explaining that only one may join the site.

Received the following PM from the orcafan15 account:

The other account is not mine, it's genuinely a coincidence. I can change my username if necessary? But the other account really isn't mine. Not sure how I could prove it, though.

I sent back:

Staff has yet to receive a reply from the other account, so we will temporarily permit you to join the site with your account. Please follow the Join the Site page instructions for submitting a new application.

Noting that the orcafan15 account applied for membership again. Declined, pending their responding to the PM.

ETA: noting that there was a mix-up; the orcafan15 application should have been accepted. As such, I've issued an invitation to the user, with an apology for the mixup. The other account, given that it never responded to the staff query, has meanwhile been issued a ban, pending response to the initial message about their application.
