I'll be brief, this is something longtime coming considering that my political views don't 1:1 align with the general population of 19cord. However, I have grounds to believe this is more of a personakl dislike from Fishish, the main promotor of this ban than anything else.
Earlier today, the user was banned for parroting right-wing views about 'wokeism' and defending 'antiwokism' [link was provided to a discussion in the official Discord]
Assuming you saw the links, it was a direct response to someone image-quoting Javier Milei's Davos speech where he attacked his ideological opponents. In there, I pointed an interpretation where he possibly referred to politicians and not the larger LGBTQ+ (even though I should had been clearer, all things considered) but that I also admitted how his speech could also be interpreted as anti LGBTQ+. At that point I was assaulted with accusations and demands and before I could properly explain myself, I was banned.

On the matter of my political views, I've always been clear. For context I grew up in [personal information removed], a country ravaged by a self-proclaimed leftist dictatorship. On this I've been very vocal and and this line-toeing mentioned as part of my ban motivations has been mostly me disagreeing with others in purely political issues and most of them of economic nature. Socially I align comfortably under the 19cord culture and the fact that I haven't been banned before, considering the quick reactions for such when faced against legitimate trolls and bigots is because:
- I have always, under any circumstance, been genuinely respectful of (people in general at all times but currently relevant about) 19cord users in any possible way.
- I have showed my true ideals several times without shame and people have been okay with it because in the end I am what you would call a centrist (pro choice, supportive of the whole LGBTQ+ community, free education and healthcare, social welfare but a smaller state that meddle with the economy only to avoid a cancerous capitalist society AKA the USA).
He's been incredibly specific in the buttons he pushes, but he's almost showed his hand a few times before this.
I believe the buttons I pushed are regarding the topic for my ban, which is my support for Javier Milei's policies. Yes, 19cord has a dislike of Javier Milei and continually share the captain ancap costume where relevant. Yes, I think that's hilarious and I don't attach myself in any way to his rhetoric but I openly loathe his association with Donald Trump (plenty of proof on Discord). However, my cardinal sin is believing his policies, not his rhetoric, are a net positive for the country at least up to this point. I have debated this several times and, due to the reasons above, never had any problems, dissent and contrary opinions to my own are a given and healthy. I don't want to virtue-signal in any way, but I can say I have grown better as a person for being able to interact with this community.

And this is the crux of the problem. If you have seen my activities, I barely even comment, I haven't used the forum in any way for years and I only comment very ocassionally to show positive support to an article. I mostly just upvote or novote and any downvote goes almost exclusively for obvious coldposts, not to mention my last article written was twelve years ago, the same length of time from my previous Disciplinary Action.
So the whole point is: I am not a bigot in any shape, way or form. I am formally requesting to change the permaban reason on discord from Bigotry to Disturbance or something similar. I am not requesting for removal of the Discord permaban, and I will respect their choice to not want to interact with me there. However, I am requesting a dismissal of the mirror ban. For many years my attitude and behavior here on the site has been spotless and very quiet. A mirror ban is an absolute overreach on the base it was brought for.
