Special Containment Procedures: SCP-8153 is to be kept in a chamber constructed of an outer layer of Nytherium and an Inner layer of reinforced steel and concrete at Site-███. Description: SCP-8153 is a standard wooden door with a slightly tarnished brass knob. It is not attached to any wall or freestanding structure. When opened, the door reveals a black void - no light, sound, or measurable space can be detected beyond it.
Any person who enters SCP-8153 has not returned, and all attempts to track or communicate with subjects once inside have failed. In some cases, people have reported a phenomenon known as "Hearing the silence," but these remain unverified.
In rare instances, the door opens by itself. During these events, ambient temperature drops and electronic devices within 10 meters malfunction. Security footage often experiences distortion or total loss during these periods.

On ██/██/20██, D-9341 was instructed to walk through SCP-8153 while wearing a full-body camera and audio rig. [DATA REDACTED]. Only the rig was returned — melted and fused into itself. During the days following the incident, no more than 7 armed guards reported hearing a faint shuffling sound from SCP-8153, even on the other side of a reinforced wall.
