The Statue is missing it's right arm and is holding its other arm infront of its torso. Despite its apparent non-anomalous appearance, SCP-8205 emits a passive memetic field inducing overwhelming sorrow, grief, and despair in all individuals who view or come in physical contact with it directly. Within two minutes, subjects report feelings of deep sadness and an inexplicable sense of personal loss and are suspected to start showing symptoms of depression. Within four minutes, subjects may begin to sob uncontrollably, experiencing hallucinations of loved ones suffering or personal distress. After five minutes, exposed individuals exhibit extreme suicidal tendencies, often attempting to self-harm and ████████ at any means necessary.
The Statue was recovered in an abandoned, broken-down church in ███████, Italy, following an unnatural amount of unexplained suicides among restoration workers and bystanders.
