**Description:**SCP-8265 resembles a tall humanoid (13 feet tall while standing)with grayish, dark and dry skin. It has multiple arms, four coming from the shoulders and four more stretching from the back. SCP-8265 can retract it four back arms when it doesn’t need them or when the get in the way. SCP-8265 uses all of its arms to reach a maximum speed of over 40Mph. The subject’s arms are extremely long, especially the ones on the back. The legs on the back look very similar to spider legs and allow the entity to move much more efficiently, avoiding any obstacles in it’s path. SCP-8265 has no facial features rather than its two radiant eyes. Since SCP-8265 has no mouth on its face to consume it has a rib cage that can open and close, working as a mouth. Inside the ribcage is an acidic, black, inky goo that quickly dissolves anything SCP-8265 consumes into smaller pieces allowing SCP-8265 to eat more. SCP-8265 has very bad vision but can sense motion and sound very well so don’t make any movements or sound when near SCP-8265 or it will attack. The SCP foundation has no information on it’s origins and from where it comes from.
**Addendum 8265-1:**Incident Report - Breach and Containment Failure
On//20, SCP-8265 was being transported by the MTF (“Spectral Riders”) from Site- to Site-. The transport vehicle, a modified 18-wheeler truck, was equipped with standard standard anomalous item containment procedures.
At approximately 22:47, SCP-8265 breached its containment, shattered the trucks rear doors and escaping onto the highway.
As MTF personnel responded by opening fire, SCP-8265’s reaction was immediate and violent. It’s back arms moved with incredible speed, charging at the MTF personnel. The rapid sound of gunfire and the screams triggered a frenzied attack, with SCP-8265 battering and tearing through the MTF at ridiculous speed and with extreme force.
Following the incident, a total of 5 MTF personnel were confirmed killed, 3 of the 5 being consumed by SCP-8265, 7 were injured and 2 survived without injury. The surviving personnel reported extreme trauma and depression.
The aftermath of the incident bought attention to the catastrophic consequences of SCP-8265’s extreme sensitivity to sound. It is essential that all personnel handling SCP-8265 exercise extreme caution and adhere to be revised containment procedures to minimize the risk of another breach.
