It resulted in short-term loss of life support of the surrounding containment chambers and hence the significance of adherence to rigid protocols of containment.

As it says on the page it is let outside for 10 minuets a day, the cell is 2 feet wide by 4 feet long. the scientists running tests on the cell know why but the guards or any body else who is not a scientist do not know why. It is a fictional place and is not going to make sense. But I can change the material of the cell if you want me to.
