Noting that CobaltGuy (formerly Dr Baygull, account age 28 days, site membership 11 days) recently coldposted the following page, which has multiple common indicators of AI-generation: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-8736
**SCP-8736:** The Skin Stealer[[footnote]] Unofficial Nickname: Please don't beat us up, O5s. [[/footnote]]
**Item #**: SCP-8736
**Object Class:** Euclid
**Secondary Object Class:** --Apollyon-- Pending
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-8736 is to be contained within a standard humanoid containment chamber at Site-82. The chamber is to be monitored via closed-circuit cameras at all times. Access to SCP-8736 is restricted to personnel with Level 3 clearance or higher. Testing involving SCP-8736 requires prior approval from the Site Director and at least one on-site medical officer present.
SCP-8736’s containment chamber must be equipped with reinforced steel walls and a temperature control system capable of maintaining a constant environment of 20°C. Personnel entering SCP-8535’s containment chamber must wear full-body protective suits equipped with biometric sensors. In the event of a breach, Site-82 is to initiate lockdown procedures, and Mobile Task Force Epsilon-11 (“Nine Tailed Fox”) is to be dispatched to recontain the entity.

**Description:**
SCP-8736 is a anomalous humanoid[[footnote]] Depends on what you classify "Humanoid" as. [[/footnote]] entity measuring approximately 2.1 meters in height and weighing 90 kilograms. Its physical appearance is notably featureless, with pale, rubbery skin devoid of hair or pigmentation. SCP-8736’s anatomy lacks visible eyes, ears, or a nose, though it possesses a mouth with human-like teeth. Despite its lack of conventional sensory organs, SCP-8535 demonstrates acute awareness of its surroundings and exhibits advanced auditory and visual capabilities.
SCP-8736’s primary anomalous property is its ability to “steal” the epidermal layer of human subjects. When in proximity to a human, SCP-8736 will enter an aggressive state and attempt to subdue[[footnote]] Via bludgeoning, stabbing, scratching, making shrill noises, and/or killing [[/footnote]] its target. Once subdued, SCP-8736 secretes an unidentified enzyme from its hands that dissolves the victim’s skin, allowing SCP-8736 to assimilate it onto its own body. This process is rapid, typically taking less than one minute, and leaves the victim’s underlying musculature exposed.
After assimilating a victim’s skin, SCP-8736 can mimic the appearance, voice, and mannerisms of the individual with near-perfect accuracy. Biometric scans and close observation, however, reveal subtle inconsistencies, such as a lack of perspiration, a lower-than-average body temperature, and irregular blinking patterns. SCP-8736 can maintain a mimicked form for up to 24 hours before the appropriated skin begins to deteriorate, at which point it will seek a new victim.
SCP-8535 was discovered in the Site-82 break room following a sudden flash of bright light captured on surveillance footage. Personnel present reported a brief sensation of vertigo and nausea prior to SCP-8736’s appearance. SCP-8736 initially exhibited confusion and did not resist containment. No evidence of how SCP-8736 arrived at Site-82 has been uncovered, and investigations into potential spatial or temporal anomalies are ongoing.

Addendum 8736-1: Incident 8736-A
On [REDACTED], SCP-8736 breached containment after luring a junior researcher into its chamber by mimicking a Site Director’s[[footnote]] Site Director Nickel's body is yet to be found. [[/footnote]] voice. Once outside its containment, SCP-8736 incapacitated three security personnel and assimilated one of them. Mobile Task Force [DATA EXPUNGED] successfully recontained SCP-8736 within two hours.
Subsequent analysis revealed that SCP-8736’s ability to mimic human behavior becomes increasingly convincing with each assimilation, suggesting a potential adaptive learning capability. Research into methods to counteract this mimicry is ongoing.

Addendum 8736-2: Experiment Log 8736
Experiment 8736-07
Purpose: To test SCP-8736’s response to non-human subjects.
Procedure: A sedated pig was introduced into SCP-8736’s containment chamber.
Results: SCP-8736 showed no interest in the pig and remained stationary, suggesting its predatory behavior is exclusive to humans. Further testing with non-human primates yielded similar results.
Conclusion: SCP-8736’s anomalous properties are specifically adapted to humans, indicating a potentially deliberate evolutionary or artificial origin.

Addendum 8736-2.6: Experiment Log 8736
Experiment 8736-∂
Purpose: To test Non-human's response to SCP-8736.
Procedure: A non-sedated pig was introduced into SCP-8736’s containment chamber.
Results: The pig displayed extreme discomfort for about 3 minutes, before starting to bash it's head on the wall. SCP-8736 remained stationary. After 15 minutes of elapsed time, SCP-8736 exhibited playful behavior with the pig, like throwing it up in the air. The pig was recovered and now resides in Site Director --Nickel-- Elmwood 's office.
Conclusion: The anomaly has shown obvious signs of sentience, including getting bored and playing with toys or tools.

Addendum 8736-3: Recovered Non-Anomalous note

Compare with user's attempt to mimic the same format in a later edit (note it's/its mixup and general casual tone):
