Currently we have not written down what works have the deletion policy applied to them and what is immune do deletion via voting. Thus I want to write this out for the deletions guide.

The following categories of works are immune to deletion due to voting:
- Pages that are made on behalf of staff as a whole, this includes guides, navigational hubs and contest hubs
- Author and more by pages
- Fragments (these are to be deleted if they are unparented)
- Protected, archived and unlisted
pages
- Workbench and sandbox pages
- Pages currently in rewrite

This discussion will go on for one week

In general, I don't have a problem with this, but since this is already going on to the Deletions guide, we should full list out all the kinds of deletions staff do, and which pages enjoy which kind of immunities to them; like protected: page being the most resistant to all types excepting full Staff votes (in theory, not in practice), and workbench + sandbox can be deleted carte blanche with certain authorities by Tech (de facto, maybe? Only real example is Lohner's.)

On that note, 'pages that are made on behalf of staff' is also not fully congregated in definition, or in attribution, either.

I agree; I feel like psi's list is good, but we should have a more complete write-up of deletion, voting, and related processes on the site.

Regarding staff attribution, we should be spending some time trying to collect that. Like, going through admin-tagged pages and such and determining which should get reattributed to Staff so the list there is much closer to actually complete.

Agreeing with Estrella.

Additionally while it makes sense to do it as suggested, I do wonder if it wouldn't be better for contest hubs to not be immune to deletion, so the community can vote them off if they really don't like them. Then again this is probably a bad idea for kcons specifically.

Staff is already going to react to an extremely unpopular contest, regardless of the deletion process. I don't think it makes sense to complicate the deletion eligibility rules.
