**Item #:** SCP-7367
**Object Class:** Apollyon
**Special Containment Procedures:** Access to and interaction with SCP-7367 is denied to personnel under any circumstance unless permission has been previously granted by the Site-██ Research Division. Due to to the nature of SCP-7367's anomalous properties, presently, no containment facility can possibly accommodate the entity. Instead, an indefinite surveillance of the Coachella Valley region needs to be put in place; with satellite and drone surveillance offering adequate security to track SCP-7367's movement thus allowing quick containment in case of emergency.
**Description:** SCP-7367 is a series of floating orbs located within the Coachella Valley, California. These orbs, referred to as SCP-7367-A through SCP-7367-D, appear to correspond to the four seasons of the year, each possessing a distinct color and associated protective function. The known orbs are as follows:
• SCP-7367-A (“Red Orb”) – Associated with the summer season.
• SCP-7367-B (“Orange Orb”) – Associated with the fall season.
• SCP-7367-C (“Green Orb”) – Associated with the spring season.
• SCP-7367-D (“Blue Orb”) – Associated with the winter season.
The primary anomalous effect of SCP-7367 is its ability to serve as a protective barrier for the Coachella Valley, deflecting natural disasters, such as storms, hurricanes, and heavy rainfall, away from the region. This phenomenon is believed to be the primary cause of the Coachella Valley’s notably low rainfall and absence of major weather events.
In addition to its protective role, SCP-7367 is also capable of altering the appearance of the sky in the region. The orbs cast a tint on the sky that corresponds to their respective colors, resulting in a seasonal shift in the appearance of the environment. This effect is most pronounced during dawn and dusk, when the orb’s influence on the sky’s hue is most noticeable.
**Fallen Dome Event:** When an individual orb is subjected to substantial damage or external forces, it enters a self-destruct phase, known as “Fallen Dome.” During this phase, SCP-7367 combusts internally, releasing shockwaves in the form of intense winds which propagate throughout the Coachella Valley. The reconstruction of the orb can take anywhere from 3 minutes to several months, during which time the Coachella Valley is left vulnerable to storms and rain. Fallen Dome events occur approximately once per year.
SCP-7367 is believed to possess multiple clones of itself, designed to activate in the event of a Fallen Dome incident. These clones act as replacements to ensure the continuation of the protective barrier around the region. The exact number of clones and their mechanism of activation is currently under investigation.
**Additional Notes:** Civilians from counties outside of the Coachella Valley have reported sightings of similar orbs in their regions, although the colors of these orbs vary. This has led some to speculate that SCP-7367 may have counterparts or associated phenomena located in different geographical locations. These reports are currently being investigated for further patterns or anomalies.
**History:** SCP-7367 was first discovered in the early 1960s by a local resident in Old Town La Quinta, California. The initial discovery involved SCP-7367-B, a large orange orb, which was promptly reported to authorities. Following the arrival of local law enforcement and military personnel, initial attempts to interact with or neutralize the orb were unsuccessful. The orb responded by removing its protective barrier, leaving the Coachella Valley unprotected from natural disasters for a period of two years. After this time, the orb reappeared and resumed its protective function.
Further attempts to study or engage with SCP-7367 have been unsuccessful, as the orbs appear to be highly resilient to physical damage and capable of punishing perceived threats to their existence.
**Addendum 7367-A:** As of [DATA EXPUNGED], experimentation involving direct interaction with SCP-7367 has been indefinitely suspended. Research into alternative methods of understanding the orb’s origin, functionality, and potential weaknesses is ongoing.
**Note:** Due to the recurrent nature of the Fallen Dome event, it is essential to maintain emergency preparedness in the Coachella Valley during the seasonal transitions to ensure minimal disruption to regional infrastructure.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-7367 is not to be approached or interacted with directly by personnel without prior approval from Site-██ Research Division. Due to the nature of SCP-7367’s anomalous properties, no containment facility is currently capable of housing the entity. Instead, continuous monitoring of the Coachella Valley region is required, utilizing satellite and drone surveillance to track the movement of SCP-7367.
