The Anti-Harassment Team has realized that doxxing is not explicitly laid out in the harassment policy. I'm fiating a change to the policy to rectify this. The following has been added under actions that constitute harassment under our policy:
Collection and sharing of personal information for the purpose of intimidation, humiliation, or encouragement of harassment (i.e. doxxing).
EDIT: This thread was originally not in line with the current policy on administrative fiat. I am correcting this now.
Date: 19 October, 2024
Type of Fiat: Acclaim
Context: It was brought to the Anti-Harassment Team's attention that doxxing is not clearly laid out as a violation of the site anti-harassment policy.
Description: Doxxing was added the actions that constitute harassment under our policy (see above).
Reasoning: While previous cases were dealt with under other violations, it was decided that we should add doxxing specifically, as it is 1) clearly a form of harassment, and 2) an often-reported violation of policy, showing that most users understand it to be harassment.

Timer: As a timer for review was not originally added, I am starting a new timer now for admins to review this fiat.
