Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-7367 is to be contained within a reinforced containment chamber, measuring no less than 50 meters in length, 30 meters in width, and 25 meters in height. The chamber walls must be lined with a combination of high-strength alloys and anti-kinetic material to prevent breaches. All access points are to be secured with triple-lock mechanisms, requiring Level 4 clearance for entry. No fewer than three armed guards are to be stationed outside SCP-7367’s containment chamber at all times.
Surveillance of SCP-7367’s behavior is to be maintained via remote monitoring systems. Under no circumstances are personnel to enter the chamber without express authorization from Site Command. In the event of a breach, immediate lockdown procedures are to be initiated, and Mobile Task Force Nu-7 (“Hammer Down”) is to be dispatched for containment.
Description:
SCP-7367, designated "The Iridescent Leviathan," is a massive pterosaur-like entity, measuring approximately 36 meters in wingspan and 18 meters from head to tail. The entity's body is covered in a unique form of iridescent scales, similar in composition to labradorite. These scales emit an otherworldly glow, displaying shifting hues of blue, green, and a spectrum of other colors, particularly under low light conditions.
SCP-7367's wings, while resembling those of a Quetzalcoatlus, are significantly more robust and are laced with a network of bioluminescent veins. These wings are capable of generating powerful gusts of wind, capable of dislodging heavy objects and damaging containment structures.
The entity exhibits a highly aggressive behavior and demonstrates an alarming level of intelligence, having shown the ability to recognize and exploit weaknesses in containment protocols. SCP-7367 has a unique ability to manipulate electromagnetic fields, potentially explaining the distortions in recorded footage and the failure of electronic equipment in its proximity.
When not provoked, SCP-7367 remains relatively docile, hovering or perching in its chamber. However, any attempt to approach or engage SCP-7367 without proper protocol results in immediate and violent response, often fatal to those involved.
Addendum 7367-1:
During initial containment, SCP-XXXX emitted an unidentifiable sound frequency that caused severe hallucinations and psychological disturbances among staff. This sound has since been neutralized through the installation of a specialized damping system within the containment chamber. Continued research is required to fully understand the extent of SCP-7367's abilities and origins.
Addendum 7367-2:
Incident Log 7367-17: On ██/██/20██, SCP-7367 successfully breached its containment for approximately 7 minutes. The entity exhibited previously undocumented abilities, including a temporary cloaking mechanism that rendered it invisible to both visual and electronic surveillance. Recontainment was achieved with the assistance of MTF Nu-7. Investigation into this breach is ongoing. All personnel involved have been reassigned pending psychological evaluation.
