Noting that new site member El dictador (account age 1544 days, site membership 8 days) recently posted the following thread: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-16905053/seeking-green-light-sentient-oil-rig which contains multiple common indicators of AI generation
Elevator Pitch: SCP-8171, an ominous, sentient oil rig shrouded in a mysterious fog, relentlessly moves across the seas, consuming anything in its path and releasing devastating electromagnetic pulses. Despite attempts to track and contain it, SCP-8171 remains elusive and deadly, presenting a terrifying challenge to those who attempt to monitor or approach it.
Central Narrative: SCP-8171, known as "The Oil Rig," defies containment as it constantly moves and evades tracking devices. To monitor its movements, a fleet of warships is required, maintaining a one-mile distance and equipped with EMP countermeasures. Shrouded in a thick, stormy fog, SCP-8171's true nature is revealed through its horrifying ability to consume ships, aircraft, and humans using highly concentrated acid, which it uses to sustain itself and generate powerful EMPs. Reports suggest SCP-8171 is more than just an oil rig, with drone footage revealing organic structures within it. The origin and true form of SCP-8171 remain unknown, but its deadly nature has been confirmed through various failed containment missions and horrific encounters, including a group of fishermen and D-Class personnel who suffered gruesome fates.
Hook/Attention-Grabber: SCP-8171's eerie combination of technological and biological terror, coupled with its ability to move undetected and consume anything within its reach, makes it a horrifying entity that challenges the very limits of containment. The unsettling mystery of its origin and true nature, along with the devastating consequences of any encounter with it, creates a chilling narrative that keeps the reader on edge, wondering what SCP-8171 really is and how, or if, it can ever be stopped.
Of note, they also posted another thread for the same concept with some additions and some sentences slightly altered. More of the recent thread seems human-written compared to the first:

Central narrative: SCP-XXXX otherwise known as "The Oil Rig" defies containment as it constantly moves and evades tracking devices. To monitor its movements, a fleet of warships is needed and must maintain a one-mile distance from the SCP, equipped with EMP countermeasures. SCP-XXXX is shrouded in a thick, stormy fog which it has full control of and uses to confuse and build anxiety in its prey. SCP-XXXX through nature is revealed through its horrifying ability to consume ships, aircraft and humans using highly concentrated acid, which it uses to sustain itself. Reports such as drone footage reveal organic structures within it suggesting SCP-XXXX is more than an oil rig. Various failed containment missions and horrific encounters between the anomaly with the foundation and the civilian population. A group of fishermen explore the anomaly after it sends sos signals to attract them which then leads to their disappearance leading to an interview with a survivor. Human tests were done by the foundation of d-class personnel and a later incident report after the foundation tried to explore the SCP.
Hook/Attention-Grabber: SCP-XXXX is a combination of technological and biological terror, coupled with its ability to move undetected and consume anything within its reach, it makes a horrifying entity that challenges the limits of containment. It unsettling mystery of its origins and the devastating encounter with SCP-XXXX show how terrifying and gruesome it can be.
Additional notes: This is my first time trying to create an SCP, any critique is welcome :) .
